Bought for $1100 before the gpu shortages and 50 series launch. Looking back, i felt i over payed but now it seems like great value seeing the current state of the market. It’s an SFF card so it gets slightly more toasty than cards with larger heat sinks but it performs just as good.

This card handles anything that I can throw at it. 16GB Memory gives you plenty of room to run multiple instances and render. Multiple editing apps? No problem. Gaming while running streaming/recording software? Ez. It comes OC'd but handles further OCing with no issues. Boosted to 2800Mhz gpu clock with 25000Mhz memory clock with GT3. It runs smooth even with high fan usage, as other reviews mentioned it might be louder than other models, I do not notice it over the rest of my fans. Another plus is that its a smaller card in comparison to other 40 series GPUs which gives you more freedom when it comes to fitting it in even some mini ITX cases. I’m 37 and I’ve owned a lot of video cards over the years, I just built a workstation last year and I put a 4070 ti, thinking it would be enough. The 4070 ti did okay, it struggled with some surprising stuff, including VR gaming which I wasn’t expecting it to struggle with at all. Now with a Pro Art 4080 Super my workstation has a total monster for editing in tow, and handles all manner of gaming like it’s nothing at all. Probably the worst GPU I have purchased. This thing constantly crashes and you have to hard reboot your rig. You can't even windows hotkey a GPU restart. Basic windows exploring us fine, but you don't buy a GPU like this to scroll reddit. I don't play MMOs. I play mostly single player co-op games. Games that really shouldn't stress this card at all. Games my 2080 super played flawlessly. I would steer clear of this card, if you are trying to game with it. Especially if you are playing recent releases that eat up GPU memory.
