I had just returned a light and had zero expectations to get this one up and working same day.... Well my first pleasant surprise was when I saw how well it was packaged .... Second was the step by step 'how to' graphic was clear and I was able to get the light up and working in less than 20 minutes. I never hang a light in my life just to give you an idea as to how easy this was for one person to hang You need to secure the wires fast and screw the lamp in If you have a hook it's better that way you have both hands free I was on the bed bc the light was in an odd area so definitely had several challenging things working against me. All to say the fixture is light so you can do it alone. Simple, minimalist and sharp day light through the glass..... I couldn't take a picture with light on very bright So glad I had it as a back up! Worth every penny! ... show more

Make sure to position the shade so the seam is least visible before you do the final attachment, otherwise you have to start over. Otherwise, they look good and are affordable. I have 3 of them.
