In all honesty, we haven't tried hauling anything very heavy or big with these, so I can't say we've really tested them out very thoroughly. These are easy to install and they are really on there once you get them tightened down. I love that they came with the tools needed to install them (minus a screwdriver). I didn't feel the instructions were too clear, but once you get started putting these on, it becomes clear pretty quick.

Ordered this for our 23 Tahoe from Amazon, arrived very quickly in a long box. Out of the packaging received four towers and two crossbars, installation hardware, keys for the locks, and rubber pieces for the channels. We are about to take a cross-country trip, we are planning on loading our Yakima roof box on this. Appears to be very well made, safe and very sturdy on the roof of the Tahoe. I just need a ladder to climb up to load things in the box. I lock the way it looks on top of my vehicle and I love the fact that I can lock this up. It reminds me my Rhino-rack crossbars I have on my truck bad. All in all this is an excellent rack system and I highly recommend it.

Overall this is a nice replacement for old or aging OEM ones, but there was some work getting it all together and installed, not a job for people who aren't comfortable with such things. The instructions were pretty good though, and it just took time to do because of it being a bunch of parts. Nice and sturdy once you do though, and the rails seems strong enough so far and are still nice and tight after a few months of use with no further adjustments.

The media could not be loaded. This really is a super nice rooftop crossbar set, with a few drawbacks. Pros- It's lightweight, yet feels pretty solid & very sturdy when installed. It has rubber strips on the top & bottom to cushion whatever you put on it, as well as minimize wind noise. The brackets are lockable to keep people from taking it off your rig. It fits a 2021 Tahoe perfectly. Cons- It's not easy to put together. It comes completely disassembled (there's more pieces than you'd think) & it doesn't come with any instructions to put it together or install it. There's definitely a step by step process & you'd never know what that is without instructions. Also, getting it centered & square is a bit of a hassle. Again, there's probably a step by step process, but without instructions you'd never know. Aside from the hassle of installation, it seems like a very nice roof rack. Of course, time will tell how it holds up, but right off the bat, it's impressive.

I have a 21 black z71 Tahoe and it looked pretty empty on the roof so I decided to get these roof racks just to give the top of it some personality. It was a bit of a pain to install but once everything was done and said it looks great. I like how these are flat instead of the old time round ones.
