We've purchased more than one of this same style but the original has been installed for over two years with no issues and no signs or rust or other damage. Even the lenses are still clear, not yellowing. I like the style because it's fully sealed which keeps bugs from flying into them or wasps from trying to build nests in the crevices. The light is a warm white and projects nicely to the ground and to the eave of the roof gable. I'd like to add more of these to our house but wiring for more exterior lights will be a pain. When we bought our first house, nothing and I mean nothing had been updated since it was originally built in 1988. The light fixtures on the outside of the house were ugly bronze antique looking light fixtures that were horribly weathered. I'm a big fan of modern looking things, while my fiance likes things that are a little bit more traditional. So I wanted to make sure I found lights that were somewhere in between, with a modern look that also wasn't overly modern. I bought these lights and I'm so glad I did! They look so great on the house, they're not that bright, but certainly bright enough. The color of the light is self is warmer than the cool white LED bulbs we put in the old fixtures. But what really makes these lights look great, in addition to their modern look, is the shape of the light they put out onto the house. It really makes a big difference in updating the curb appeal of our home. The only real issue, which was minor, was the fact that the mounting plate did not match up real well with a standard 2 1/2" - 3" in junction box. In fact, there was really no way to get two screws through the mounting plate and into the junction box. I was able to get around it by just sinking a screw into the siding somewhere else on the plate which did the trick just fine. The light fixtures themselves are very lightweight and so the junction box doesn't really need to support the weight of the fixtures too much. Other than that, I really love these lights and I had all four mounted on the house within 30 minutes. Overall a great purchase, I definitely recommend! ... show more
