    • Snug fit
Color: Black
Snug fit, operates perfectly. Definitely worth the cheaper price tag over the genuine Wilcox G24. **UPDATE** After 2 occasions of using this mount I noticed a lot of wobble in the mount, luckily I noticed many loose Allen screws before it fell apart possibly damaging my nvgs. I just used loctite on all the Allen screws. It now seems to be fine and no more wobble. You definitely want to loctite all the screws when you receive this mount. Other than that, everything has been working fine. ... show more

    • Seems to be decent quality.
Color: Black
It isn't a Wilcox, but I'm very impressed for the price point. Most of us can't justify a Wilcox and this certainly does the job. Definitely not airsoft junk like I expected for the price. After reading some other reviews I thought it was worth a shot and I'm pleasantly surprised with the quality. There is a few thousandths worth of wiggle, but it still functions considerably better than than the standard non-dovetail mounts that come with most pvs-14s. ... show more

    • Will require tweaking
Color: Black
This product is of course a copy of a popular and government contracted mount. It works similarly to a real one, however the fitment isn't perfect and you shouldn't expect it to be, even for the price point. I had to tighten screws, add loctite, and generally mess with most of the adjustment pieces to make it functional to a degree I feel is worthy. If you are using it for airsoft and looks, go for it, it looks the part and is pretty nice. If you are hanging $5K+ NODs off of it, then just know you will have to take it apart and put it back together with added touches to make it work. It is worth the cost savings to me to put in the time and effort needed to make it work, but not everyone is wanting to do that. If you want something that works out of the box, you may have to go with the real deal. I was hoping by upspending on the copy I would have had a better go, but it seems to be working well for now as long as the loctite holds up. ... show more

    • Well worth it at a reasonable price

I was so incredibly nervous to buy these because of the price and reviews. Most of them are pretty good, but the thing about this kind of mount is the more expensive it gets, the better it'll be, which sucks for cosplayers and airsofters. I bought this months ago and I've had no problems with it. I'm doing a Ghost cosplay and obviously, I had to get the GPNVG 18 dummy nods and those kind require this kind of mount. Now of course the mount isn't going to be perfect. Just look at the price. But ya know what? I'd say it's ALMOST perfect. It's definitely metal. It's super easy to install on a bump helmet. You just push it in the spot. It's that easy. NOW. The reason why I said almost perfect is because my GPNVG 18 dummy nods are loose in them. You can tell that this mount is designed for these nods, but they're just loose, so if you hoped to get a perfect one out of the box, better look for one at a higher price. But not all hope is lost, now it's time for you to get creative. The big reason why it's loose is because it's like there's a bit of a gap between the top inside of the mount slot, and the dovetail part of the nods. I shit you not, I solved this issue in 2 minutes by putting (I swear I'm not joking) a plastic guitar pick in-between the inside of the mount and dovetail part of the nods and it worked great. Yes, they're a bit of the pick tip poking out but it's not that noticable. I've looked straight down while the nods were in and they stayed nice and tight. I've shaken them around and they stayed in. So yeah. If you can find someone sturdy to fill that gap, it works great. It looks cool and feels pretty damn secure. Decent price for a almost perfect mount. ... show more

    • Looks good... but useless
Color: Black
The dovetail shoe is out of spec and the dovetail on the armasight #172 arm will not lock in. So consequently the monocular just falls off. Also the shoe was mounted backwards on the sample I received. Giant pain in the ass to flip it to the correct orientation. Typical chinesium I suppose.

    • Fits okay
Color: Black
It fits in my bump helmet okay, it's loose, but nothing the bungies on my helmet can't fix. Locks in place in both positions. The eye relief function is solid. It's cheap, I don't have a real one to compare to.

Well it's definitely a counterfeit Wilcox G24 mount, Right down to the Wilcox name. But at least they aren't trying to sell it as a Wilcox G24. That said and apart from the moral implications this is very much worth what they are charging for it and more. I originally rated this at 4 stars because it's a knock-off and it's probably isn't as good as a Wilcox but it is a REALLY GOOD knock-off and it doesn't cost anywhere near $500 either. So how good is it? Well I completely trust the safety of my $4,300.00 White Phosphorous Gen 3 PVS-14 to it! That pretty much says it all. ... show more
