I didn't have high expectations because of the price but I would say that you get a little more than what you pay for. Each leg had a stripped out screw or the hole was bored out too big. I was able to super glue the metal to the wood and it seems to be a strong enough bond. If you're not a handy and this happens, you'll probably just want to return it. Otherwise, it's a very nice table and I expected some kind of issue given how inexpensive it was. It was a pretty easy fix. ... show more

    • Toxic smell very strong after 3 months

I’m surprised that I didn’t find a review mentioned the toxic paint smell that came with the table before I purchased this. What paint did they use? I took the table out of the box to let it off gas in the garage and the strong smell seeped through the door into my hall way. It’s still so strong after 3 days. I don’t know what to do with this, it’s so big and hard to return. smells like formaldehyde that causes cancer. Even though the wooden pieces look nice and feels smooth, the toxic smell is just so unhealthy! This wouldn’t pass the health and safety check if it were IKEA or any regulated furniture store in USA. Update: this is almost 3 months after I bought this table and having it sit out in the living room with windows open all the time- the table is still emitting paint smell! The paint/glue is from within the table and it does not go away!!!! Be ware buyers ... show more

It's rare that I write a review with negative tones but this deserves it. The item finally arrived after I had to track it for almost the whole month of December 2022. For some reason, UPS didn't leave the item but left a note as we were not home on the date they came - which by the way was NOT the date Amazon stated as delivery. Called UPS twice to get the item routed back here from where it was dropped of at a Michaels Craft Store - connected in the Philippines. Was told I could pick it up there - 12 miles away, I don't think so. Finally called Amazon after almost three weeks to get it re-routed here. Finally, it arrived on December 30th (original delivery was Dec. 8th.) Not an easy task even when contacting Amazon. Would be nice when dealing with a USA company that the phone calls would be answered by people in this country. Corporate greed at its best! I placed a dispute with my credit card company which got a rise out of Amazon and a lengthy email from them!!! What it takes to get a situation resolved. The item is what I wanted, sturdy and relatively easy for one person to put together. I'm 71 and had very little trouble, I'm stubborn so I did it myself, but could have used a third hand. I'm satisfied with the table, but not so with UPS or Amazon for customer service. ... show more

Nice little table that fits perfectly for small spaces. The walnut wood color is a nice neutral and the shape is clean and elegant. It seems quite sturdy, although it does scratch fairly easily. It’s perfect for my needs and I think the quality is fair for the price.

    • Chemical smell

Immediately opening the box the table smells terrible, like off gazing chemical smell. The table looks decent and sturdy, easy to assemble, but luckily I have an outdoor area which is where I immediately put the table cause it cannot be indoor with that smell. I don’t really want to keep it but the trouble to return things makes me wonder maybe I can use it in the garage or somewhere. I’ll leave it outside for a few days and see if the smell reduces at all. But even so, it has a sticker in the bottom warning about cancer in CA. I don’t know if it’s a good idea to keep this table as it was going to be the kitchen table where I’m sitting at a lot. I don’t want a table that I have to worry about health concerns tbh. Ok I’m upgrading my rating. Now that the table is finally inside. I had to leave it outside for a month or so the smell was so bad. But the chemical smell has dissipated. The table is very functional and plain looking. I don’t love the color but for the price, size is really good, it’s a good table. There’s not much out there at this kind of price. ... show more
