I am very impressed with the palm plant! I have sent back many plants bc they look too fake. Definitely not these. Will order more if ever need more. Every part of the plant can be shaped to create the look you want.

I needed a small, not too bushy palm to go next to a chair in my living room, in a spot that doesn't really get any natural light. I honestly bought this plant with very few expectations after searching literally hours online - from Nearly Natural to Pottery Barn, CB2, Amazon etc. - trying to find the perfect plant. I finally realized that I might have to just bite the bullet and do trial-and-error, get & return a bunch them if they doesn't work out. So I decided to start with the cheapest on my list - this plant - and work my way up the cost chain. Well, this was a first hit homerun. I found the perfect one. The plant itself came well packaged. The leaves are like a rubbery plastic (not exactly sure how to describe), but most importantly, they don't have that plastic super shine that a lot of faux plants have. It's got a very faint sheen, but in my opinion it's just the right amount to make the leaves look realistic. Unless you are really kinda inspecting the plant (and unless you know about my plant-killing notoriety), it can really pass as the real thing. I paired mine with the 8" planter from the very reasonably priced LE TAUCI ceramic set of 3, and covered the top with black river rock, and I couldn't be happier with the results. ... show more

The base is very small, so I suggest a nice pot to put it in and maybe put some moss in it as well. Be clear that this is a fake plant and does not look real. Well, it looks kind of real from a distance. It was cheap and I already had moss and a pot to put it in. I ended up putting it in a corner at the far end of my living room where it can be seen, but not in an area where it can be seen up close. It may only look very fake to me because I live in south Florida where we have these all over the place so i can easily spot a fake. If you're from elsewhere, you may not notice it at all. ... show more

Love the fact that this plant has the brown paper like texture at the bottom of the leaves, this is what makes it look so real! Easy to arrange leaves and bend.
