I needed a small, not too bushy palm to go next to a chair in my living room, in a spot that doesn't really get any natural light. I honestly bought this plant with very few expectations after searching literally hours online - from Nearly Natural to Pottery Barn, CB2, Amazon etc. - trying to find the perfect plant. I finally realized that I might have to just bite the bullet and do trial-and-error, get & return a bunch them if they doesn't work out. So I decided to start with the cheapest on my list - this plant - and work my way up the cost chain. Well, this was a first hit homerun. I found the perfect one. The plant itself came well packaged. The leaves are like a rubbery plastic (not exactly sure how to describe), but most importantly, they don't have that plastic super shine that a lot of faux plants have. It's got a very faint sheen, but in my opinion it's just the right amount to make the leaves look realistic. Unless you are really kinda inspecting the plant (and unless you know about my plant-killing notoriety), it can really pass as the real thing. I paired mine with the 8" planter from the very reasonably priced LE TAUCI ceramic set of 3, and covered the top with black river rock, and I couldn't be happier with the results.

Sweet little plants! Very realistic looking! Unlike a lot of faux palms, there are a couple smaller fronds & new shoots! And the brown &/or papery bits add CONSIDERABLY to the REALISM! Unfortunately, they're also paler than my live palms, & the leaves are narrower. And, they're a lot shinier than my live palms. (Photos are comparison between larger live palm behind 30 in. faux palm. ) Like most plants, the height includes that of the pot-- so keep that in mind! Even with the few negatives I've mentioned, the 12 in. & 30 in. are still the most realistic artificial palms I've ever found! And I bought two of the 30 in. :) I had considered ordering the largest 3 footer-- but noticed it doesn't seem to have the brownish papery bits that add so much to the realism. Even those on the 1 foot are quite different than those on the 30 inch.

Brought a bunch for my second bathroom decor. They are very sturdy. Look realistic. Seems like great quality for the price. No plastic smells which is a plus. Just wished they were a little bigger.

I’m very pleased with this purchase. It is easy to set up/arrange, and looks as realistic (or more so!) as any other product I’ve seen. The base is small but very stable, so I placed it in a decorative pot with moss. The leaves and branches are full and lovely! I would definitely purchase it again.

The base is very small, so I suggest a nice pot to put it in and maybe put some moss in it as well. Be clear that this is a fake plant and does not look real. Well, it looks kind of real from a distance. It was cheap and I already had moss and a pot to put it in. I ended up putting it in a corner at the far end of my living room where it can be seen, but not in an area where it can be seen up close. It may only look very fake to me because I live in south Florida where we have these all over the place so i can easily spot a fake. If you're from elsewhere, you may not notice it at all.

Realistic compared to most I’ve seen. Description is accurate and it was incredibly easy to manipulate the fronds to a desired look. The quality is better than I imagined at this price point and the green is natural looking. I have this in my stairwell(not finished) and I love it. I’m not a fan of the pot but let’s face it, we typically use our own to better match our individual styles. I would recommend and I plan on getting a few more.

More realistic looking than most. The post is of high quality. No assembly needed. Good value for the money. Great decor for smaller areas.
