I developed dry, itchy scalp after moving to Colorado and adjusting to the mountain climate. In the winter months, it gets particularly bad, but if I visit the coast or warmer climates, the issue clears up on its own. I thought I had dandruff, psoriasis, or maybe an allergy to my Redken hair dye so I tried MANY different remedies over the years in the hopes of curing my itchy and scratchiness. Nizoral dried my hair out & sulfate dandruff formulas stripped my hair color. I read the reviews for Living Proof and figured it was worth a shot. It's only been a few weeks now but already, I've noticed my scalp is less irritated and feels much more hydrated and nourished. The itchiness has also subsided, which is a HUGE relief! I use this about 3x a week after shampooing and go easy with application, since you don't need much. Just a few drops in my problems areas, rub it in, then apply styling product and blow or air dry. The slim tip applicator makes it easy to target just those areas that bother you. I never did see a dermatologist to confirm what my issue is but this appears to be working for me as an OTC remedy. It may not work for those with serious skin conditions like psoriasis so if that's you, best to talk to a derm.

I can't believe it actually works! I've had an itchy scalp for about 15 years, just in the back of my head, between and below my ear line. I had no idea how much flake was getting all over my clothes, super embarressing. My stylist said it was psoriasis, but my dermotologist said it was just dry scalp. I've tried Head & Shoulders, T-Gel, Neutrogena Clear (in case it was really build-up) Ion Healthy Scalp, and nothing worked. I used it for 3 days straight to start; it's a little hard to get sparing little bits in just the places you need, when it's all at the back of your head. So some days I don't get enough, and others I put too much and then my hair back there got gunky. I don't think the scent is that strong, but maybe my smell is ruined from COVID. It's not oily, and the days I put too much on it was like I used a little too much styling mousse. I'm scratching my head about 80-90% less now! I may just still be doing it from nervous habit, but it's not an insane, constant itch like before. I will buy this again!

I wish I'd taken before and after photos, though I probably would be too embarrassed to post the before. This product is life-changing! I've had dandruff my entire life - the first time I noticed its as in 5th grade sitting on the floor fiddling with my hair and watching it "snow" beneath my head. For years I've tried all sorts of products to no avail. The flakes might've reduced, but never stopped. Enter Living Proof! After a few days of use the flakes are virtually gone and have remained gone with consistent use. Bonus for me is that it doubles as a styling gel! So I don't have to worry about using any other styling products that might reduce its effects or worsen dryness! Love this stuff!

I feel like I’ve tried over dozens remedies to help with my dry flakey scalp. This has been a life saver. It is finally the treatment I’ve needed and searched for. It does exactly as it says. It is the microbiome that is the magic ingredient and I’ve only found it in eczema treatment creams. To discover a product that truly treats at the scalp has me recommending that you absolutely should buy it. The bottle has lasted me a long time. It has no scent and does not make my scalp look greasy. It feels soothing when my scalp is sensitive and itchy. I like using it when my hair is dry so that I can target the flakiness sections of my scalp.

After the first use it definitely helped my itchy scalp and then after a few uses for a few weeks my itchiness went away all together - and I love the nozzle on it because it helps me spread apart and section my hair for easier application

I tried everything to help with my severe scalp psoriasis scales and general dry scalp, from dermatologist prescriptions to natural remedies and everywhere in between, and nothing worked as well and quickly as this product! I have struggled for years with my scalp and one use and my scalp was 95% clear! I've used it about 3 times now and I couldn't be happier with this product

It helps soothe my scalp for several hours. The only issue I have is that it says to apply to scalp when wet. I’ve been using it right after I shampoo my hair but also in-between shampooing, so I don’t know if I should be doing that or not. However, the product does help soothe my very dry scalp.
