The oil is pure, lightweight enough to apply easily, and has a very mild scent. It absorbs well without leaving a heavy greasy feeling if you use the right amount. This was the first Castor Oil I had ever tried and it surpasses all the others. It is thick, gooey and sticky...which indicates that it has NOT been diluted like many others. I put it on my eyelids at night for dry eyes (along with taking Benfotiamine). I have nerve endings under my skin on my left thigh which causes severe itching and after rubbing a good amount into my thigh, after several days the itching is gone. I started wearing fingerless gloves to protect the backs of hands from the skin tearing because my skin had become so thin. In the late afternoon I began applying a thick coat to the backs of my hands and let it absorb for 45 minutes. After the 3rd day I was able to get rid of my gloves...the skin is thicker and the bruising has disappeared along with many of the age spots. I put a drop in my bellybutton at night for a good night's sleep. I tried other Castor Oils and found that all the benefits I was enjoying were disappearing. They were thin and watery which is an indicator of that oil being diluted. Kate Blanc Cosmetics makes a terrific Castor Oil and I will continue purchasing it unless it becomes thin and watery.
