LOVE THIS STUFF!!! worth the price, very good for removing brassiness from bleached or yellowing hair. Highly effective, love the lavender tones. MY RECOMMENDATION: If your hair is superrrr brassy, do not wet it down like the directions say. Glob it up and very heavily saturated your hair and leave it on 20 minutes before washing. I left it on 20 after application stopped and I was worried it would over tone but it didn't but IT DID heavily tone down the brassiness of my 8 weeks plus grown out and unkept bleached hair. I wouldn't recommend doing my suggestion right after a chemical process though due to the porosity of freshly bleached hair. If you haven't done a chemical process in a bit and your hairs brassy, do it tho! Very happy with bold uniq

There were pro's and cons to all of the products in this combo pack, but overall I have to say that I love this shampoo and conditioner. The shampoo was unfortunately the most drying of any purple shampoo I've ever used (and I've used many), but in contrast, the conditioner was by far the most hydrating, so they definitely balanced each other out. After using the shampoo (which I actually applied to dry hair for more color depositing), and then followed by using the conditioner in the shower, my hair was soft, smelled great, and the tone was absolutely brilliant. Currently I'm embracing my gray, so my natural hair is growing in silver and the ends are still yellow/blonde. This turned all of my hair a silver color and reduced the transition line, and really brightened it up. I'm so impressed that I'll probably tell my colorist about this line, as she is always keen to learn about new purple shampoo products that she can tell others about and use herself. As far as the purple hair mask goes, I am really disappointed. I tried this about a week after using and loving the shampoo/conditioning combo, thinking that it would give it an extra boost of toning. It softened my hair ok, but the color was terrible, nothing like the other products. It definitely has more blue color in it, which can be seen before even applying the hair mask. After leaving it in for a few minutes and rinsing, I found that it had completely darkened my hair. Even my natural silver was muted and dull, all of the silvery brightness was gone. It made my hair not only look like dirty dishwater, but about 3 shades darker than before. I will never use the hair mask again, and I'm extremely disappointed in this particular product, especially after how well the original shampoo/conditioner worked and how much I loved it. Every product works differently on different hair types, but unfortunately I cannot recommend the conditioning hair mask due to the fact that the toning properties were drastically different than the other products, and made my hair look really dull and lifeless. This is really unfortunate, because all of these products should work together seamlessly, but they do not. However... as I said...the shampoo/conditioner combo is wonderful, and I will be telling everyone about it who is looking to transition to their natural grey or just trying to make their light blonde hair more pale/to remove the yellow tones. It brightens perfectly, and really creates/accentuates the silver highlights. These products are a bit pricy, but I honestly believe that they are well worth the cost because I know that I will not have to use them as often as other products I've tried. Other than the purple conditioning mask, I'm very very happy with this purchase.

Oh my great product. First I have colored my hairs for many years and have finally decided to let the grey show. The hair mask really brings out my grey color. So pretty. Also I have been battling dry scalp and after one wash it was 75% better and after second mask 90%. I have tried everything so I am so happy. My hair feels great again.

I grew out my gray hair a couple of years ago, but have less gray in my hair than I expected. I would say that only about 10-15% of my hair ended up being gray, which honestly is a little disappointing. I do have some face-framing strands (ala Tulsi Gabbard), though, so I bought this product hoping that I could at least make those brighter/whiter. I had noticed a little bit of yellowing on the ends of those strands, so I figured that this product would at least help with that problem. My hair type is course with thick strands, low density and naturally curly/frizzy. I used a clarifying shampoo before applying this product to get the best color uptake and left it in for 15 minutes. The instructions say to leave it in for 10-20 minutes for "shimmering platinum/silver or ash-gray tones", which is what I was going for. I did use the included gloves to apply the product, but got some of it on my face and neck. It washed off without staining, so I'd say gloves are not strictly necessary. It also did not stain my shower. Application was easy and not drippy. For the most part, the thick paste/cream stayed where I put it but was easy to brush through with a detangling brush. My only complaint about application was the smell. The scent itself is not unpleasant, it was just too strong. It also lingered a bit in the hair after rinsing it out. On the plus side, it did seem to leave my hair well-conditioned, which I was not expecting. I still followed-up with a hair mask because I have course and frizzy hair. People with more normal hair might not feel that they need conditioner after this. Now for the results - I wasn't expecting anything spectacular due to the fact that I don't have much gray in the first place, and I didn't get anything spectacular. What I did get was a toning of the yellowing ends of my gray strands, and a subtle overall blending of the grays in with the rest of my hair. That effect was subtle and unexpected. My husband says he didn't notice any difference, but he doesn't notice much to begin with! I don't feel like I got "shimmering platinum/silver" on the grays that I do have, but that isn't too surprising. I do think my hair overall looks better and more polished (in a subtle way). As my gray progresses, I'm sure I will appreciate this product more.
