I bought this battery(240CCA) as a replacement for the high power Yuasa(220CCA) I installed after the OEM(200CCA) one in my 2003 Suzuki SV1000N died. So this is my 3th Yuasa battery but my first AGM type. I hope it'll last just as long as the OEM and the first replacement(BOTH were conventional but maintenance free lead/acid type). Each one went for about 5 years or so, connected to a smart 800mA tender when not riding. Word of advice: If you're looking for lightness, this battery is NOT for you, this thing it's HEAVY. More than the OEM one and the "high power" version of the OEM. Thankfully, it's got the same physical dimensions as the OEM part so in my case it's a drop in. No spacers or anything else needed. ... show more

Perfect fit on 2014 BMW R1200GS. Easy to install. This is an AGM battery (just like the BMW OEM battery) and even has higher Amp-Hour specs than the BMW OEM battery, which is a bonus. I've used Yuasa batteries in my motorcycles for years, and they are always a great replacement battery that lasts for years. ... show more

    • Early to tell but so far so good
The battery I received from Amazon (sold and shipped by) is as pictured (ZYZ61H). It has the same specs as batteries from other resellers, some are $10 cheaper and some are $50 more. Amazon states that this is not compatible with my bike (R1200R, 2016 BMW) but it is if you remove the foam adapter at the bottom (I replaced the factory unit which is one inch or so shorter). Other third party vendors on Amazon (especially the $50 more with the same part number but a different color sticker) says it is compatible with my bike and so does the Yuasa website so go figure. Secondly, it appears warranty may be an issue depending on whom you buy it from. The Amazon document is fairly generic but it seems people have had issues returning this within the one year period. If someone can comment, that would be good. Edit: As of 12/16/2020, the battery is working flawlessly. Edit2: As of 9/27/2021, still good. ... show more

    • Now on 1 year 7 months usage in my BMW ...
Now on 1 year 7 months usage in my BMW F800ST and it is as strong as ever. Cranks the engine very quickly and always starts it almost immediately. It is put on a Battery Tender Plus only when I know it will not or has not been used for more than 2 weeks. My original battery lasted 6 years 9 months, so this one should last at least that long. I did have to fabricate a new hold down bracket because the indented space between the terminals was narrower on the GYZ16H battery compared to the stock battery, requiring the stock bracket be too drastically cut down to fit. That was a red flag, as cutting it down narrower would have drastically weakened the minimalist designed factory plastic bracket. The only other higher performance battery under consideration on my May 2015 shopping date was an Odyssey (sold by Amazon), NOT listed as the battery to use (Odyssey does not make one to fit the F800S/ST), but known to be used by F800 owners after the required external "finning" on the battery was trimmed down to fit inside the battery box. As a retired motorcycle mechanic shop owner, you can not go wrong with Yuasa batteries. Their quality and reputation has been earned over decades. ... show more

    • Failed after 2 months in service
This battery was supposed to be the highest CCA-rated battery in its size that would fit my K1200S. It fit fine. It started perfectly well, until 2 weeks ago, when I went to start the engine and it wouldn't turn over. Now, that's strange, I thought. So I put it on the Deltran charger, and it read full in less than 30 minutes. Now, that's even stranger, I thought. I removed the charger and started the engine - again and again, it started. Charging was 14.5 volts, as it should be. I let it sit overnight - tried it the next day - battery won't turn over the engine. I removed the battery and checked it on a Pulsetech 490 battery tester - Replace Battery was the verdict. This battery is no good. I processed a refund (minus 20%) from the vendor I purchased it from. Yuasa batteries no longer have the quality they were known for. I will not buy another Yuasa battery again. Let the buyer beware. ... show more
