A little goes a very long ways. I’m a guy with a large beard. I tried the usual products for men and wasn’t impressed. One of the beard oils I bought were ok but didn’t really soften my beard. My beard, not soft. More like a face full of very small wire instead of hair. Maybe some of you ladies can attest to this having experienced your man’s beard. After showering , washing and conditioning my beard and blow drying it I used about a dime sized amount, rubbed my hands together and applied this stuff. You have to wash your hands afterward, just wiping didn’t get it off. After about an hour I ran my fingers through my beard and was pleasantly surprised. Really soft and my beard smelled great. I’ve used this for years, and it’s never failed me. This makes a big difference but isn’t a Brazilian blow-out people. Too many expect a glassy shine, and if that’s you, go to a salon.

So I wanted this product to give moisture to my fried blonde hair that was so damaged that it was falling out in bunches and I was like a shedding dog lol. But I’ve started investing in various hair care product and since I really love the Chi rose hip shampoo I got this. First the pros: it doesn’t make your hair greasy and dirty the next day. It gives your hair some slip making it easy to brush, and that’s about it. Cons: the smell is like a dead animal. Won’t give your hair any reparative functions like supplenesses or shine. It’s really an average product that will not make a huge difference in your hair routine one way or another. You won’t be blown away. The product I recently fallen in love with is a product by the California brand IT and they make a leave in 1-12 “amazing serum” with Abyssinian oil that blew me away. And it costs $6 at Grocery Outlet. Once I tried it I bought all stock they had just in case it gets discontinued because it totally healed my hair. So Chi Silk Infusion is a-ok, I give it 4 stars because it didn’t make my hair dry or feeling worse. The smell is yucky but the slip you get is nice. Hair still remains damaged and dry with it as it has 0 moisturizing properties on a deep level. I’m not going to use it but if you have nothing else, it still gets my upvote because it’s better than nothing. ... show more

This stuff is awesome. Personally, I don’t have to worry about it weighing down my hair or making it greasy. I have very dry and curly hair and this Makes it silky smooth and gives good shine.
