I have more of a spiral curl to my hair which I love. However, it is thick and constantly frizzy, even in the winter. I struggled with finding the right product that would enhance my curl. I use the curly girl method and tried other brands like Deva, Briogeo and so on. No luck getting the curl to take the way I needed it to. Finally I tried the Living Proof curl products and I'll never go back. Worth every penny. I use the curl elongator and gel when wet to get soft spiral curls. The formula states that it is an elongater however it resulted in my sons hair retracting and becoming tighter and shorter than even in its natural state prior to using the product , this is very disappointing and upsetting. I would only use it on very short hair for its moisturizing properties.

    • it’s beautiful and smells fantastic but it’s too heavy

It smells amazing, and the scent literally stays in your hair all day. It feels nice as well, but it’s just too heavy. I only use the littlest bit just to evenly spread it throughout my hair, but it makes my hair feel like it has a film of product on it and heavier.

    • Great curl cream for my 4B/4c hair

I have tried many a curl cream/gel products. My hair is mostly 4B but has 4c in some areas (listen this what the hair dresser told me). This is the best curl cream I have used. It doesn’t leave my hair crunchy. My curls pop. My curls are a little longer than if I use another curl cream (my 2nd favorite is Tariji’s). Listen - wet you hair really good before using a curl cream - idk if everyone does that. I usually run my hair under the water as opposed to spritizing it with my daily water/aloe mixture. I make sure every strand is wet. Then I put some of the product on my fingers and rake it thru sections of my hair. And I don’t have to use a ton of products. I finger comb my hair, gets the tangles out and distributes the cream to the strands. I let it dry halfway by air and then shake my head to let the curls get wherever they wanna get. And bam.
