Almost a drop in replacement for the dead H5 that was in my 2013 smart fortwo passion cabrio, and is working great after two weeks. So much lighter too - easier to put into the vehicle because it is so light. Exact fit - except it is not a true H5 battery because it does not have the two holes in the handle for the positive terminal cover. I drilled two holes for the cover and all is well. That said, the picture shows the holes and the battery I received did not have them. I believe that the items received should always match the pictures for the item being advertised. Oh - made in China if that matters to anyone. The stock charging system is operating perfectly with this battery - I have a Bluetooth battery monitor attached to the battery and nothing is not where it should be. Starting voltage is higher with this battery than stock, and it appears that the headlights do not show electrical load changes like the flooded battery did - I think the LiFePO4 responds quicker to load changes than the stock batteries. I bought for my daughters 2008 VW Beetle and thought that new tech meant better! The battery build quality appeared very good and light weight. It installed easily but after driving it for a week, the car stared to have issues. The radio would turn off and restart randomly while driving and I did notice a hiccup in the car while driving. The alternator light would come on for a couple seconds and would disappear at the same time the radio comes back on. I do notice the headlights look dim while driving at night as well. The alternator is less than a year old and should have no issues. I do notice that before the battery swap, I was charging voltage was at 14.4V while on. With this new battery, the voltage charge dropped down to 13.4V while driving. After trouble shooting this with my mechanic, it came down to this battery issue. I had to replace this with the standard AGM and now the car works fine with bright headlights. It is charging back to 14.4V. I ended up return the battery. Not sure how everyone else is doing fine with theirs but my car did not like it or the battery was defective out of the box. ... show more

Had to lay it on its side. Fortunately, lithium batteries do not need to be upright. This 600-amp battery works just as well as an 800-amp lead/acid battery.

It's been 4 months now and no issues, other than being under the impression it was a direct replacement battery for my 22 Kona N. To be fair, trying to find the exact group for my car wasn't conclusive. I only bought this battery for my curiosity. Since I was having issues with a powertex battery more than double the cost of this battery, I thought I'd try it out knowing a little about batteries. Anti gravity and powertex are seriously over priced. Using my automotive electronics back ground. I was able to use the stock battery wires after removing them from their holders. Didn't last 3 months unused. Won't charge or turn on. Past return date not worth the money. And yes I know lithium batteries. I've had 45,ah cmax for 6 years and still going strong. This one though is junk.

This is half the price of the other popular one, but it works great, has a voltage read out with current volts, and also shows battery percentage. I have it in my 2022 Hyundai Ioniq 5, it's way now stable than the factory stock battery.
