I got to try it out in a major snow storm and it seemed to throw snow like a champ. Now I was doing removal of snow at 3 to 4 inch levels, but it felt like it could do a little bit more. It was a medium sized driveway. The battery lasted around a half hour to 40 minutes, but it was not constant usage. The device can get heavy after a while so this might not be good for an elderly person looking to save strain. If you have minimal coverage to do it might be fine in that regard. Seems to be a learning curve on how it throws. I liked to approach it from the side. Seemed like a neater result than going up and down. Battery cover is tricky to remove and might not be a good choice for someone without a strong grip. Overall the device cuts shoveling time down by a few minutes. You will still have to exert effort and might be tired after doing it. I've had gasoline powered snow blowers and corded snow throwers, and this can throw snow as far or farther than those...just not the volume. But I like the idea of the battery. No engine problems. No cord issues or blown fuses. You can keep it in the house with ease. ... show more

I was a bit skeptical when I ordered this little power shovel. But we got 18" of snow yesterday and last night so it was put to the test today. I cleared 18" of snow from a 16 x 24 foot deck and didn't even use up one battery of power! It skimmed off 6" at a time and blew it over the railing and away. Absolutely so impressed with this little machine. I highly recommend this to anyone who needs to move snow in small areas. Going to do the front walkway next. It is so lightweight and maneuverable that it even did the corners by the little greenhouse and got close to the patio door frame so I didn't need to edge with a regular shovel! Bogs down under heavy/wet snow. Wish battery lasted longer / was stronger. Hoping they keep improving these with better battery technology, feels like a snow vacuum that spits snow instead of taking it in.

When I first purchased this product I was very impressed it removed snow easily without the lifting and twisting needed with a traditional shovel. The battery life is good and I’ve used it to remove up to 4”-5” of heaven a light snow without issue. After using it about 6-7 times the motor started to squeal on occasion, I’d stop and restart and it would go away for a little while. At the price point I got it I didn’t figure it would hold up long term but thought I’d get through more than a month. Great concept just pay a little more and get better quality. ... show more

This arrived just in time for historic snow storms in the Sierra Foothills this February and March 2023. Be clear, this snow shovel cannot clear huge swathes of snow in one go, but it helped enormously with keeping the paths clear. It can only clear a max depth of 6 inches at a time, but worth every penny if you learn how to use it. Remove snow as it falls. This removes light snow pac, not dense or packed snow. I have quite a large driveway and this cordless shovel has been a blessing this winter so far. I haven't used my regular snow-blower at all yet because this has done the job every time so far. . Each charge lasts about 30 minutes, so I have to keep moving fast before it runs out of power. Upon further review of the Litheli Power Sholve, My brother had the chance to use it and initial thoughts is that the 20volt battery just dosn't last long during the 20 min run time. Some improvements I would make is to give it a 40 volt battery and make the run time longer. I do recommend this product by 89%. It is worth the price.
