This tool lets start off is FANTASTIC. No other way to put it. It makes my job so much easier to bleed out a cooling system and makes filling up a cooling system way easier. I love how there isn't a mess and makes quick work of it. The reason i purchased this is because i work with a variety of vehicles and Lisle recently came out with a the VW adapter which makes my job EVEN easier and not having to jimmy a way to do it. I am not going to list every adapter because it's hear on Amazon but let me tell you the new updated GM and VW adapter makes it much easier. It's sometimes difficult to find the "right" adapter for the vehicle but it's not overly a big deal as you end of figuring out what color fits with experience and time with the tool. I really like the fluid stopper where you plug it in the hole and remove it to fill the jug of coolant with no mess. It's a very sophisticated way of doing it but makes it very easy, it also comes with a cap to cover the funnel and also love how deep it is because you rev the engine to bleed out excess air and not have it go everywhere and then clean up a big mess afterwards. I'll tell you right now, if you do not own this already you should. It such a fantastic tool to have around the shop because it's just so easy to set up. I wish i knew about this sooner than i did but as long as i have it now that's all that matters. Even if you are not in professional setting i still would recommend you purchase this because i'll save time and money from having a mechanic do it for you. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase this because i think it was ONE of the worthwhile investments despite who tells you that it's not because they are wrong. Just such a fantastic product, i got to tone it down here i am getting to excited about this!

I didn’t know they made a thing like this. It’s so cool. I got it this morning and immediately put it to work.. it works as advertise. It doesn’t make a mess. It doesn’t spill. It doesn’t do anything, but it’s job. It gets all the air out of your system and it does it very quickly.!! great product

Easy fitment and seal for 2006 Accord and 2012 CRV. Easy to attach. No leaks. Handle plug seals as expected to move fluid around to overflow container or back to coolant jug. Worth the cost.

yet another tool i wish I'd gotten much earlier in life as a DIY mechanic on my own stuff. This would have made life easier for burping systems, etc. w/ much less hassle. I also got the vacuum refiller and will likely use that for full refills/flushes, but this will be great if I'm just maintaining level or maybe portable or otherwise don't have a compressor with me.

The product worked very well. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because the first one delivered was missing both one of the adaptors that goes in the radiator fill neck and the instructions, and had to be returned. The parts are in two sealed plastic bags the size of sandwich bags, and one obviously had been ripped open, with one of the adaptors missing, as could be determined from the Lisle web site information. The replacement was complete. I used the funnel on a 2005 Lexus ES330. I drained and filled the cooling system repeatedly, rather than opening the engine block drain plugs. Thus, I used the funnel numerous times. Even though the engine did not present significant air bubble problems, the radiator filler neck is near the engine, not the radiator, and with this configuration, the funnel was very helpful in keeping coolant off of the engine.

Purchased to facilitate radiator burping on two vehicles after a flush and refill. I was concerned after reading several posts claiming that there were problems with fitment. Product arrives exactly as expected and was true to description. I have a Jeep with an aftermarket radiator. The product description is vague regarding fitment, but Lisle is a robust brand so I ordered the standard package and hoped for the best. Upon arrival I familiarized myself with the components and selected the red nozzle and large cap as the closest, best radiator neck fit. Due to a small amount of wiggle, I adjusted the tension of the tabs on the cap and placed an additional o-ring around the top of the red nozzle to secure the device firmly with the cap in position (might not have been necessary after hammer-tapping the tabs tighter, but I like redundancy). The extension tube and bucket perched solidly above the radiator and performed the job easily. Occasional squeezing of the upper hose while running completed the extraction of air bubbles. You don't need a Godzilla connection for a non-pressurized burping session, so don't over think it. Got the whole thing done and put up before I even though about a picture!

I bought this over others, as Toyota lists it as an "official tool". I used it for a coolant drain/refill on my 2018 Tacoma TRD Off-Road and it functioned perfectly. Not a drop of coolant leaked and the funnel stayed put when bringing the RPMs up in the process of getting all the air out of the cooling system. I might not need to use it a lot, but when I do, it simply makes the job clean and easy. I'm now waiting on some coolant to be delivered for our Acura MDX and I expect the same results. Excellent tool that was well worth the price of admission.
