I threw that away because it was bending too much ... even after applying a makeshift wrap. It also was very bulky. I bought the new one from Amazon primarily because it was sturdy. The smaller footprint was an added benefit. The $5 version was so flimsy I thought it might be impacting my State Farm Safe Driving statistics by thinking I was braking and accelerating too fast.
