I bought this for a covered entryway - installed on the ceiling. So, it's in no danger of getting wet. Therefore, I gave up trying to get the rubber gasket to fit properly. I even tried some glue and caulk to hold it temporarily while installing the fixture. Had I to do it over, I wouldn't have messed with the gasket and just installed the fixture - ezPZ. ... show more

The Box came with nothing but the item, no instructions. the only instructions were on the Amazon site and those instructions tell you to remove the cover which is impossible because the screws grooves are unremovable. . I tried to submit a question about the installation but no one has responded over 24 hours later ... show more
