This chair is easy to assemble, soft fabric, and firm. It is extraordinarily comfortable. It does not take up a lot of space. I am 5 feet tall, my husband is 6, we both fit in it well, though I don’t imagine he would want to sit in it for a long time. I could stay in it all day. Love the price! Smaller size is very easy to fit into bedroom space. Easy to assemble. Nice sturdy fabric and fun colors! If I could suggest one improvement it would be softer velvet and more color choices.

This blue was a deep shade, not quite navy or royal but somewhere in between, love the color (not as light as pictured on description). Put the swivel on chair and legs on ottoman in less than 15 minutes. Easy Peasy! Swivels nicely. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because the legs for the ottoman are plastic, not sure they would last very long with heavy use. The chair is definitely made for someone small in stature. I am 5'4" and 170 lb and I fit perfect, but the back of the chair comes to the middle of my back, no upper back support. It is perfect for the guest room in my home and fits nicely. I love this little chair and would consider it good for a child's room. Good craftsmanship and the cushion is secured to the chair with velcro. For the price, it is a good value and well made!     • Ottoman tips easily- not safe

There is a big issue with the ottoman- the legs are a lightweight, hollow plastic, which results in the ottoman being prone to tip over if anybody sits near the edge. Shortly after I assembled it, my 1yo toddler attempted to climb up onto the ottoman, and it flipped over, resulting in a bruise and split lip. I also tried to sit on it, and accidentally missed sitting in the center, and had to catch myself as it began to tip/flip. If this was a well known big brand, I’d expect the ottoman to be recalled. While an ottoman is primarily for resting feet on, it’s also normal to use them as additional seating. So having this issue is, imo, unacceptable. It would not have been hard for it to come with heavier, more stable and tip-proof legs, making it safer. The chair itself works well. It is quite small, about the right size for a tween or young teen, or a very small adult. The seat cushion has velcro under the front edge, securing it to the chair, but if you sit on the front edge of the seat, the back of the cushion raises up a bit into the air since it is not similarly secured. I’m overall unimpressed with the quality and value, but it makes a cute chair that my 3 year old enjoys to use (after removing the unsafe ottoman). ... show more

Bought it in yellow to match my gold theme home office decor and I’d have to say it’s well done very comfy and goes deep when sitting back. I only wish the legs were a little taller but so far I love it and I would purchase in blue for another room.
