My 9 year old son helped me put this together, and we took about 2 hours from start to finish, including cleaning out space, unpacking the box, and putting everything back together once the bed frame was assembled. I could have handled the job easily on my own aside from fitting the cross braces on the bed frame. They have to be slid in very precisely on opposite ends at the same time, so having a helper for that part was super valuable! The headboard storage area is a bit smaller than I envisioned, but other than that, this is a fantastic bed! It’s sturdy and lined up just perfectly. The instructions were easy to follow - just take your time and be sure to pay attention to detail. The LED feature is fun, and while like other reviewers we wish there was a remote for it, that’s a minor quibble. Looking forward to utilizing the under bed storage drawers, and I love how they can lock securely into place - such an ingenious little design quirk. We have an 8 inch thick bed in the box mattress from Costco, and my son says is very comfortable and he doesn’t feel the metal slats at all. The mattress does slide around a little, so I might figure out how to get some sort of gripper to put on the slats to help hold the mattress in place a little better.

It's always a gamble ordering unassembled furniture online but my daughter saw this bed and really wanted it. So I gave it a shot. I was pleasantly surprised by how well thought out the design was and how easy it was to assemble. And very sturdy. If I had to make any complaints, they would be minimal, and all regarding the LED feature. Here ya go: The LED plug is a little short. Longer would be more convenient. There is no separate remote for the lights. The remote is built into the LED strip. It works fine, but a remote would have been nice. And finally, no "cube" was included to plug in the LED strip. Easy enough fix but including one, even a cheap one, would allow for immediate use after install. Otherwise, I am very happy with the purchase. I think the value is there for what you pay/get. I would recommend and purchase again.

The assembly was pretty straightforward I did it myself taking me some 2 hours start to finish. Bed is a bit low for my liking but overall it’s great. Quite sturdy, looks amazing with led lights and headboard makes it for a comfortable setting.

I bought this for our guest room and was looking for something inexpensive. This is a pretty awesome product for the price. It came packed amazingly well. It is powder coated steel and reasonably heavy steel. I did not know what 'greige' was but it is essentially grey with some brown wood highlights. Attractive. PRO: well made and certainly good for a guest room. Attractive and has storage. Well packaged so little chance of getting a damaged product. CON: It has a ton of screws and took a long time to assemble. Each drawer has 10 screws for example. Although I never need help in assembling anything, this was a challenge for one person. The backboard cannot be easily laid down to assemble the parts and I ended up having to reglue the screw inserts. That said, I am happy with the product even thought it took 3 times longer than expected. The instructions are all pictures ... But I had little issues. OH, the is one unused screw insert on back of each drawer and it appears to be that if you put a screw in it as recommended, it will punch thru the drawer. Cannot see a use for it but thought I would mention it.

The media could not be loaded. Although this arrived 5 days later than it was expected, it arrived fully boxed and protected, it was a very organized box with clear instructions and the hardware was very nicely packed-I really really appreciate that. Although the directions don’t have words, the pictures are very clear to understand and it was very easy to put together. I also appreciated the quality-the housing for the screws was metal, so I expect this to last quite a while and not just crumble under me one day. I expect it to last through a move, too. It’s quiet, it doesn’t freak or anything. I got the drawers under mine for storage, they fit nicely and secure. For $400 I think is a good buy. It sits lower to the ground, but I don’t mind that. It looks nice. The reason I gave it three stars is solely because I cannot get the LED strip to work on command. I got it to work the first night I got it put together and haven’t been able to get it to turn on since. I’m bummed because that was a major selling point for me.

This bed was actually fairly easy to put together, way easier than I thought actually. So I give it 5 stars for that because you know these things can be crippling after hours of putting them together. It did take about 2 hours, but it wasn't like aggravating or painful to do. A few cons(if you care, I personally don't care too much): - The boards are flimsy-ish, so you do have to be careful with everything until it's completely together. Once it's together, it's a little stronger. So not sure how long it'll last, but it's still okay for the money. -Instructions are missing a couple of things so you have to put on your critical thinking cap a couple of times. It wasn't like I had to go back and fix anything per say, but I definitely had a couple of "well it doesn't say where this peice goes, but I'm doubting myself because the instructions don't specifically say that", but I made it through it. - Had a couple bumps and bruises on some pieces. Nothing detrimental, but I had to bend back some brackets on the metal. Couple of peices of wood had a few dings in them, but the package weighs like 100 lbs, I am not returning anything that weight for just a couple of dings lol. Other than that, it is identical to the picture, fits a queen perfectly, and looks really nice.
