I purchased this used for about half the price figuring if it had some dings it wouldn't be an issue. The only issue I had was that all the hardware was in one baggie and no assembly directions or parts list was included. There are A LOT of different bolts and washers so I searched online and found the parts list and assembly instructions. This is a very good-looking stool. It's very sturdy and the seat is comfortable. Assembly was a little tricky. The instructions were somewhat ambiguous but I managed to put it together. My daughters always say that there is nothing Dad can't make worse with a tool in his hand, and yet I did it and was able to solidly plunk my 246 pounds on it without it falling apart. ... show more

    • My husband hit the floor!
We used these at the bar in our kitchen. Luckily, my 10 year old and her friends were the ones usually sitting in these. The other evening, I heard a loud banging around from the kitchen. Upon checking, I found that my husband had sat on one of the stool, and the leg had broken off. Apparently, there was a knot in the wood of the leg, so it broke right where the knot was. Also, if you notice, the back legs sway out, instead of being straight up and down. Be prepared to hit your toes on the back legs a lot. It really hurts! ... show more

The chair is really good and installation is really easy. Pros: 1. light weight 2. Strong enough. Cons: 1.i wish its comes with something for leg so its not sliding on wood floor. 2. It will be more comfortable if they use similar foam for back part.

This stool is taller than I expected and my feet don't touch the floor, but it looks nice. The problem is it wobbles. I put it together very carefully and checked all the screws and connections but it appears to be a defect.
