The look was nice. Over time, even after scotchguarding the fabric it still stained. The leg support screws have stripped and now the supports just spin around. The underside of the seat is actually made of cardboard. The cushion breaks down quickly. Once that goes you will then have a wooden support splitting your cheeks when you sit on it. I opened it up to attempt a fix and discovered the cheap material. I was not impressed. If you are getting them for decoration then they will look good, but if you want something to sit on I would keep looking. ... show more

These are absolutely perfect! They are a great quality and super easy to put together. They are about 2" taller than the said 30" but it's totally worth it due to the comfy coushin.

I bought first one chair and then 2 more chairs after I put the first one together. Easy setup but the screws are cheap so I recommend getting some better ones at the local hardware store. The stools are stable and solid for up to 200lb, but I think it would stress the joints with any more. As I mentioned before, I ordered 2 more from a seller on Amazon because Amazon was limiting me to just one and imagine my surprise when an order from Home Depot showed up at my door. I bought these "30 inch" stools to place under my 35" bar counter. (35" from the floor to the bottom edge of my counter) When I set them underneath there was only 2 1/2" clearance. I measured the stools and the wooden part is 30". With the built in cushion they are 32 1/2". I'm keeping them because they are beautiful, well priced, easy to put together and sturdy. I'm hoping that the cushions will break in a little bit and I'll have a little more leg room under my counter. If not. I'll have to cut a couple of inches off the legs. ... show more

Bought this for my Dad who is 87 to be able to sit at the sink to do his dishes. We measured and wanted something between 28-30 inches. I bought this thinking the cushion would be comfortable and it was also on sale. We got it and it was super hard to get together. The support legs have angled places to put the screws and we could not get them to go in correctly, some would not tighten all the way. The other reason I sent it back was it was not 30 inches it was 32. 2 inches made a difference on the safety for my dad. So I only needed one of these because I’m not putting it at a counter but rather using it a corner of my bedroom under my wall mounted jewelry box and the woods matches perfectly and the seat width makes it very comfortable to sit on. My husband said that the pre-drill holes were drilled correctly so he had to fix it in a few spots himself and we also chose to cut 5 inches off the legs to make it fit in my room and be comfortable to get on when you don’t have a counter to lean on for help and still looks great ... show more

Great buy for a light to medium use bar stool. Comfortable. Just note that it's high as it's a bar stool . We were looking for something for our business behind the counter seating to save space. But it turned out to be 4 inches higher. So we sawed off the legs :) . Easy to saw using a reciprocating saw as it wasn't very dense wood. Done in couple minutes. Tall and sturdy. Only reason for the 3 is the padding is not fully supported. There is only one center cross bridge which means eventually it'll probably sink on the sides.
