We have been looking for some bar stools. Looked around and prices vary, but this seem about right. I am not a carpenter but it was pretty easy to assemble. It had 2 screws on each side of each leg (8) all together. Then you screwed in the leg supports. Boom. Done in about 30 min with 2 chairs, they look great and passed the sturdiness test and sit/comfort test. So i am happy and seems like a real keeper. ... show more

The spec page on this shows a rating of 275 lbs! As you can see from the pictures of the assy procedures and the data tags on the bottom of the chair this is BS! Very misleading and false. I decided to keep them anyway. I don't expect adults to be sitting on them and honestly they are fairly sturdy. They are the exact height, style, and match my mission style furniture very well. I think most complaints come from people who don't assemble them correctly. The screws that go into the support pieces are not designed to pull the supports into the legs. They need to be tight against the leg when installing and snugging up the screws but there is no way they side supports would hold up to an adult putting their weight against it. They are fine for the light use they will see but anything more you are better spending your money on something better. ... show more

At first look I was pleasantly surprised till I put them together. Cross bars do not fit snugly and afraid they may break away. Screws soft and stopped easily. Tried taking apart and putting back together to make more secure - nope - guess I’ll just have to careful and be sure no one puts any weight on foot rest crossbars . ... show more

Kind of junky. The chairs wobble as you try and sit on them as the legs aren’t even and also slide on the floor.
