Not too difficult to assemble by yourself if you pay attention to the instructions. Really a beautiful leather look and very comfortable and sturdy. Looks so nice under my brown/black marble countertop island. Only ordered the one, but was such a good price and easy to assemble that I plan to order another one. My 230 lb. brother found it very comfortable to sit on, so it fits the reason I bought it. I've seen similar one on furniture sites and they generally run much higher and still have to be assembled. I ordered six of these stools. They really are beautiful, however two of the stools had defects. One had a large chunk of wood missing around the screw holes, and the other had no holes at all!

The quality is average, the assembly is not hard and the sturdiness is not bad. The plastic leg pads are too hard. Most disappointing on my part was that the wood stain color was much lighter than indicated in the picture. Overall, slightly above average with real rubber wood.
