Such an easy dash cam to use. The picture quality is great, it was easy to set up, the wifi works and it comes with a memory card. Everything you need to use it right out of the box. I can't complain at all.

I recently got this dash cam for my car, and I'm very happy with it! The dash cam firstly has better image quality then I expected. I am not sure what 4k really means anymore but it is much better then the grainy security cam footage that still makes its way onto the news sometimes, it even was better then expected in low light. It also came with a 64 gb SD card, which was nice, but I would recommend upgrading to a faster and larger SD card, if you don’t know what you need go to your local tech store and ask for an SD card that works with 4k dash cams. Overall, I'm pretty happy with this dash cam, I am more happy that I havent been in or witnessed an accident yet.

A few months ago, my wife was cruising down a main arterial road on a Saturday morning. Traffic was light and she was cruising along at the speed limit. From the left, a van pulled onto the street, changed lanes in front of my wife, and promptly stood on the brakes. Thankfully, my wife had quick enough reflexes to avoid running into the van, but it was clearly an attempt at insurance fraud. I decided it was time to get dash cams for our cars, so I got this one. I am very pleased with its performance. It has excellent resolution so you can read license plates, and it performs well in low light. It is also easy to set it and forget it. Just plug it in, hit the power button and go! It records continuously and overwrites old material. Thankfully, we haven't had any incidents worthy of pulling the footage yet, but I have peace of mind knowing that if it is necessary, we are prepared.

I have this dash cam for my safety, and I really like it so far. I think it's important to see what goes on on the road and this dash cam captures it all. The picture quality is a little low but still good.

The thing I like most about this camera is that it does not need to be hardwired. I have zilch for mechanical skills so having a camera that can be powered with a simple plug in was appreciated. I use an old smart phone paired up with this and it works great. The picture is clear.

When I was looking into this dash cam I was unaware that it did not have a view screen, everything had to be done from your cell phone. There is nothing visible on the unit except a little power and recording light, there are no buttons or switched on it either. That could be considered a good thing or maybe not, it could make the unit the simplest dash com and in my mind, the most complicated. Almost everything has to be done with your phone, I say almost everything because it has some really nice features controlled by “Voice Command” To stop recording, say: TURN OFF RECORDING To start recording, say: OPEN RECORDING To take a picture, say: TAKE A PICTURE To lock the current video files, say: LOCK THE VIDEO I know, not a very logical choice of commands, but it’s nice that they are there. It comes with a cigarette lighter power supply, a good length of power cable, several adhesive clips to hold the power cable, a manual (which is nicely written and readable, a pry tool for installing the power cable, a 64GB micro SD card, 2 electrostatic sheets for mounting and then the unit itself. The mount is strictly a permanent mount with attached double stick tape which can be mounted over the electrostatic sheets supplied Once mounted, you can still remove the dash cam while leaving the mount in place, it took a little doing, but I was able to remove it by pushing the whole dash cam to the left and the bracket remains in place. The ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) or Intelligent Driving Assistance is a feature that can provide assistance to the driver. Each of the four systems can be activated or disabled independently of each other, this feature would be handy to have, it’s similar to some of the systems available in modern cars today. They are “Lane Departure” (veering out of your driving lane), Forward Collision Warning (a car is stopped in front of you), Pedestrian Warning (if someone walks out in front of you) and Warning the car in front of you has started moving (when a light changes and everyone starts moving except you). They show in the settings as: Novice Driver Mode, Old Driver Mode (really?) and Custom Mode that lets you choose which you want. These can be of some assistance, but I wouldn’t rely on them. The picture quality is very good and sharp, makes playback crystal clear enough to read a sign, license plate or the back of a truck. Being able to simply say “Lock The Video” to save something you wanted to save or “Take A Picture” is real benefit, since to do that on all other dash cams I’ve used, you had to press a button on the dash cam to do that. Telling it to Stop or Record video by voice command would also be convenient when you don’t want a record of where you are going. I can see quite a number of advantages to this particular dash cam, but having to connect it “wirelessly is nice” to your phone every time you want to do anything is a real pain and I certainly wouldn't pay $229.99 for it, I have seen several other dash cams with similar features and much easier to use that are available for a whole lot less, I feel this vendor really missed the mark on price with this one.
