Love this. It says it's water resistant and with kids this is a must. No weird smells, easy to wash, feels like it's good quality and doesn't make noise. Fit the bed great, and its very comfortable, and doesn't feel hot. Looking forward to seeing how it's does long term.

The media could not be loaded. I poured over 3 cups of water on this cover to see if it would soak through to the mattress. I waited and didn’t see any liquid soaking through. Not giving 5 stars just yet because my son has occasional accidents in the night. With time and pressure, I’m not sure if the urine will soak through or not so that would be the real test. The sides for mine are not waterproof but there’s an option to get that one and I would get it because the water soaked right through the mesh sides. I will update if he has an accident and it soaks through but for now, I would say it works. Love the price too! ... show more

    • Pad was everything we needed.

I’ve been looking for a pad for a disabled person that is still healing and rehabbing. This person will sometimes have some urine issues and often have blood issues due to an open wound. This person also suffers from night sweats. First, the pad fit the TwinXL mattress perfectly. Often when I buy Twin XL items they are baggy on the mattress, but this mattress pad had a wide band of elastic so it hugged the mattress and stayed put. From the first night the person was much cooler sleeping and didn’t sweat like usual. About a week after putting on the pad our person had a wound / blood leak incident. I’m happy to report the blood (with some spot treatment) came out perfectly, I can’t even tell where it was. That’s been an ongoing issue with sheets and other items that get permanent staining, but not this mattress pad. And I wash in cold water! I would recommend this pad for people with night sweats, incontinenance, potty training kids. If you want to protect your mattress and / or keep it dry this is a good choice. In fact I bought another so if we have another fresh pad to put on while the other is in the wash. ... show more

It is worth getting this. It does a great job. The one I got only the top seems to have protection not the sides. however it still does a good job protecting the mattress and is easy to clean. I will be getting another one in the future.
