This is WONDERFUL!! I couldn't get one of those big cloth protectors bc I'm not able to throw them in the washer every morning. I needed something I could just wipe down with antibacterial wipes in the morning and go on. But I definitely didn't want a plastic sheet!! I just grabbed this in a HURRY, bc the price is amazing, while I did some MORE research!!! I figured it would work for a minute while I found something perfect for our needs. Much to my surprise this is PERFECT for our needs!! It's not the cloth, so I don't have to put it in the washer every morning. It's not plastic either, so it's still soft and breathable!! It is a soft, quiet membrane so it can be wiped down with a couple antibacterial wipes every morning and dried with towels or cloths. It doesn't make her sweat like plastic sheets. And it seems to breathe like the cloth ones do. (NOTE: I did put it on upside down tho bc the top side is cloth-like. It could possibly make it break down a bit quicker and it may not effect anything at all. Just wouldn't know yet. But even if it does, that's ok with me. It's cheap enough to buy more if needed) I did make a video but my silly camera is HORRIBLE and it didn't do it any justice!! So I decided not to post that. But it is very nice for our needs!! I bought this for my son when he transitioned from a crib to a twin bed. He has had potty accidents with leaky diapers, and vomited in his bed in the middle of the night. Each time I pulled back the fitted sheet and this protector thinking, welp, there is no way this could have saved the mattress… But each time the mattress has been COMPLETELY dry, not a stain or wet spot in sight! Last night he really got really sick in his bed and I thought this is it, mattress ruined. It was 3am and I knew I would have to take action to salvage the mattress. I was shocked when once again, it was completely saved by this protector. Due to how the work it would have taken me to pre-treat the protector this time, I ended up throwing it away. Because of how inexpensive this protector is, it was worth it to me to pitch the old one and purchase it a second time- which is what I just did. And I even told myself at 3am in the middle of the chaos of a sick toddler and being sleep deprived, I have to write a review for this. The protector is comfortable ( I’ve slept on it myself) and it does its job, probably better than some of the more expensive options out there. Don’t let the inexpensive price make you hesitate on this one - it was the best $13 I ever spent. I bought this as a protector for my dog's new orthopedic pet bed. Not sure about the water resistance yet, as (thank heaven!) she has not yet had an accident in bed. However, she does like to lick her toes in bed (naughty!) and this protector seems to keep the mattress dry underneath. This protector is thinner but also more comfortable than mattress covers that I have bought in the past -- it does not make crinkly noises as with plastic covers and is a lot more comfortable than other waterproof products. It seems to offer both comfort and protection, which is A+ as far as I am concerned. Woke up from having a big bloody nose while sleeping. would share pics but thats nasty. Sheet had a pool of blood just sitting on top of the sheet. Thought for sure the mattress would be stained. Removed bedsheet and the mattress protector had a nice big pool of blood on it also. lifting off the protector and nothing underneath, clean spotless. this one definitely works. ... show more
