Great mixer. The only thing you need to watch out for is the super speeder button on the side which can sometimes get pressed by accident. Using it on slow settings is great, on higher you'll want a deep bowl but that's standard for all mixers. Looks clean, works well, great size for packing back into the box and putting on a shelf. Well worth the buy unless you want one of those professional giant mixers to take up room on your counter.

So far so good. Great weight. Not so heavy that unwieldly, but not so light that flops over when set aside. Will stand on it's own and like the attachments. Price was decent and you can't go wrong with white. Size fits well in my hands. Really love its speed options etc. So why only 4 stars? There's a significant design flaw. You see, there is a BOOSTER BUTTON on the side of the machine. Not a big deal and can be a good thing when cooking. But I'm used to popping in the accessories without a problem. The basic mixing accessories were having trouble popping on and then coming off when I asked them to. I was fiddling with it and happened to forget to unplug + accidentally hit booster button. Even though machine was OFF, the beaters whirled to life. Even though I immediately released the button in surprise, the beaters were still whirling at top speed for a sec. Luckily my fingers were no where in-between them, but what if they had been? What if I had really messed up and done hit that button while my fingers were INSIDE the beaters?? Now, this is an easy fix - just make sure to ALWAYS UNPLUG your mixer when NOT IN USE. But I think the company should make it so that button doesn't do anything unless the machine is actively on and in use on any of the 5 speeds.

According to instructions, I washed the beaters before I used them for the first time. I used a nice, gentle blue dishwashing soap (yes, THAT soap - and it's great!) and let them air dry. The next day I retrieved the mixer and beaters to use them for baking, and the beaters were rusted. I'm returning the item and will not buy the same product as a replacement.

I’ve had the same mixer since 1975, and it was my mother-in-law’s before I got it. I finally decided to get a new one and I chose this one. I’m very pleased with it. One thing I wanted in a mixer was power to mix heavy batters and this one does that. The beaters are a good size, and the adjustable speed easily changes from very slow to very fast. I love the extra attachments that come with it, and the added container keeps everything close together instead of searching the drawers for that other beater. Everything about this mixer makes me glad I got it. It may not last fifty years but I probably won’t either, so my kids can fight over who inherits this beauty!

This mixer seemed like it would have been great. Liked the container below the mixer to store the beaters in and the different beater blades it came with. But, unfortunately I wasn't able to try it out because had to return it due to the fact that I couldn't push the eject button to remove the blades. My husband was able to if he pushed really hard on it, but I'm the one doing the baking and I needed to be able to get them out.
