This IS by far the very best mobility scooter I have ever owned. I had a Go-Go (very heavy) and a Solex (lightweight) but after two repairs (expensive), it stopped working and the dealer (Enhanced Mobility) refused to fix it. So after wasting over $4,000 with them, I went to a scooter store (local) and they wanted over $3,000 + $700 for any extra battery. Been there, done that, so I figured I’d check on Amazon - and I came across this one - and boy, am I glad I did. It arrived only a few days after ordering. Hubby put it together easily and I was able to “be-on-the-go” again. This scooter is 100x way better than the more expensive ones. It is lightweight and compact, in a good way. The design of this scooter is perfect. There is enough leg room and back room and is a very comfortable ride. It handles very smoothly and is easy to use, easy to see the speed and battery life. And the night path light is very bright, lighting up a pathway very well. Also, like the “toot toot” horn. It has a nice big basket to told shopping bags or grocery bags with handles to carry everything into the house easily. The battery is lightweight. We ordered an extra battery to keep one charged up at all times and the manufacturer was kind enough to include a carrying pack under the chair to store the extra battery. This scooter is everything I was looking for and more. It has six speeds from Turtle to Rabbit. Am using this scooter from shopping all the way to cruises. Buy this “little love bug” and you’ll soon be tootin’ around with ease, too! Safe travels!! ... show more

Really like this scooter. Purchased second battery for peace of mind. Goes approx 10 miles on battery charge. Nice weight to lift in back of SUV. Has average turning radius. If you are going to be on it for entire day sight seeing would recommend extra seat padding. Nice to have basket. Had a problem with conductivity and starting and have had great communication with Sugogo to resolve. Would recommend. ... show more

Beautiful. This is the best feature of the scooter is the fact that it has quick change packs and you can keep them charged off line ANd you have a place on-board to store a ready-to-go backup. My biggest gripe about the scooter and battery packs is the lack of one or more USB ports. Why couldn't they have added a few on each power pack? I modified one of the empty packs but putting in a large power brick and hooking it up to a 12v cigarette port so I can put in all kinds of USB ports. I have a cig USB plug that has a display and 10 !! usb ports of both kinds. Later I might attach a photo. I just recently added a panel-mount recharge port so I can charge my power battery from USB C. ... show more

    • Battery works Great, HOWEVER.
This "extra" battery fits great and works just as well. The only issue is my YL-985 Scooter came with a "spare" empty battery box. Now I have two great batteries and an empty battery box. I cant find a way to just purchase the "guts"/battery assembly and "make" a third battery. The extra box is useless without the ability to put together another useful battery box. Hopefully someone can respond to this and offer assistance. ... show more

I'm 80 with a bad back and I can load this scooter into my SUV by my self with both battery's on board. only weighs 43 pounds with battery's, comes in a box folded and you have to install the arm rests and baskets, the one under the seat is installed with velcro straps and easy.
