These are great, aside from poking around in my attic running the romex, the install was very easy. They look great. But yes, as some other reviews stated, you really end up wishing you could dim them. The light isn't incredibly bright or blinding or anything. But in my case, I have them mounted so that they're aiming right in our faces as we're watching TV or playing games. So I ended up taking a piece of printer paper and wrapping them around the outside of the fixture because our eyes were starting to hurt. Not the fixtures fault, I should have bought dimmable fixtures. They are always going to cost you more though. I had an electrician install because I needed power brought to them but they are stunning and exactly what I wanted. The "in" thing is to add a touch of black to your home and these did that perfectly. I have a lovely photo but over my dead body am I giving bozos access to my phone storage. Ugh

    • BEWARE NOT DIMMABLE
I don't know if it just not compatible with smart switch's, but this will not work for me. Wasted a day off with these. Just beware they are either not dimmable or incompatible with smart switch's, which why would anyone produce a light that is not dimmable or smart switchable?

I used a Lutron RadioRA2 professional dimmer for this light and when I tried to dim it below %50, the unit flutters and shuts off. I guess I got what I paid for. It is cheap.
