I bought this because I had seen others use it with their recliners. My recliner doesn't even go out flat. Pillows don't work and have no substance to them. The size and the handles make this cushion work well. I can put it against my recliner bottom and sit in my chair and it elevates with it and then I can use the handles to pull it closer to me.     • Doesn't "fit"
I thought I'd be allergic to the covering, but I'm not. It's very soft. Extremely well constructed. BUT - only purchase if you will be sleeping in a regular bed & if you've got long legs so heels will not be resting on the pillow. I am a "petite" plus I sleep in a recliner. Sadly, I've found no way to make the pillow work. No possibility of having a twin bed for another 9 months; BUT I am storing it & am definitely looking forward to using using it then. ... show more

This a tough one to evaluate. How effective it works for you will vary. From a construction point, it's well made, supposed of memory foam although it seems to be a little to firm and light weight to be made of this type material. It had a nice soft micro fiber-like covering with handles sewn in handle to make it easy to carry or adjust where you want it. Speaking of carrying, this elevation pillow is although relative firm and a little bulky looking is very light weight and easy to carry of maneuver. For me, I use it to help circulate blood and remove excess water from my lower limbs. The problem for me with it is that it is not high enough to get my legs above the level of my heart unless I lay flat on my back with no pillow. Also, after a while my legs cramp up due to the odd-shaped contour of the elevation pillow. If you observe the image on the web site it shows a "hollowed out" section where the calves fit. This just doesn't work well for me for some reason. ... show more

It’s not too high. It’s very firm, but soft. The curves are in all the right places. The handles are necessary. It could be a few inches wider. It would be nice if there was a handle in between the two handles on the front. Overall, highly recommended.
