I have a bed frame with narrow metal bars about 6 inches apart. That's a bit far apart for proper support of a foam mattress. Over time, my mattress had started to feel less comfortable as it began curving into the gaps between the metal bars. This folding mat supports the entire mattress! I got the full size and it fits perfectly in the bed frame to give every inch of the mattress great support. It is not easy to find bedding accessories for full size beds. It seems that is not currently a popular size and even finding deep pocket cotton sheets for a full size mattress can be a challenge. It was exactly as I expected a very thin board cut into pieces in a fabric casing that can be folded up. It provides adequate support on a toddler floor bed that is slightly raised off the ground. I picked this one for its size since it fits under a majority of the bed where some other bunkie boards were much narrower. Exceptionally well made and absolutely perfect fit for the full size bed frame. Bed is a steel frame that allegedly "doesn't need a box spring" which turned out to be nonsense claim. This does the duty of something 10 times it's thickness, stays in place and doesn't make any noise whatsoever.
