Original door opener failed and needed to be replaced. I selected this unit based on name brand, type of lift, size and wi-fi capabilities. Installation was tedious as I am not very comfortable working off a ladder. So, took my time, and, read the instructions (yes, I know). Unit came complete with two remotes, one exterior-mount remote, the interior garage door/light switch, obstruction sensor units and all the wiring and hardware to do all the installation. Overall, a great kit to work with. Part of the installation was connecting to the wi-fi and installing the app on my devices. That was easy-peasy, with great instructions and helpful guidance. I wanted this feature and I absolutely LOVE IT! The door can be controlled with my phone, and I get notification anytime the door opens or closes. Being a bit absent-minded, I like being able to see that the door is closed using the app. And, if I did forget to close it, I can make that happen from anywhere in the world! Yeah! I would not hesitate to get this unit. It is top-quality and performs like a champ!

This Liftmaster Garage Door Opener replaced our old double garage door opener that died. It was easy for our handyman to install and has worked effortlessly so far. It also has a Wifi connection that can be used for closing and opening the door from afar. Excellent quality and value for the price paid.

It works very well. I installed all the components just fine but had issues with programming it. There was a "trick" regarding positioning the chain when starting to cycle and program it. The instructions could have been better in that regard. I hired a garage door technician to straighten that out and it has been great since.

So far this unit works much better that the unit I replaced (2265 Liftmaster) , which was about 15 years old. The fact that it uses three RF frequencies vice the one in the 2265 seems to result in much better performance. I had a lot of trouble with the 2265 unit over the years, especially with the receiver logic unit, which I had to replace three times. Even with that, the range of the unit was always marginal. The reason I give this unit 4 stars vice 5 is that the Liftmaster Tech support is unsatisfactory. When I tried to get some help with the 2265 unit, all they did was read the troubleshooting page on their web site to me, which I was viewing on line a the same time. Very poor. Installation of the new unit was straightforward , but it would have been nice to have some installation instructions. I was able to use all the old hardware and wiring from my old unit.

Love this new opener and WiFi capabilities. The keypad makes for easy entry and I only have to press enter to close instead of requiring a pin. The app was easy to sync with the unit and my phone alerts me every time it opens and closes. It even has the option to give a pass to Amazon delivery to put packages securely in the garage but I haven’t used that feature.

Lift master did us a great service by keeping their design consistent with older models. I fixed our old one a few times but it’s probably 25+ years old so I needed to replace it. Switching manufacturers meant changing the overhead bar and maybe the chain too. This model was a perfect fit so all I had to do was replace this one part. We’ve had it a few months and it works great. And connects to our Wi-Fi for newer features with MyQ.

This product arrived missing parts. Inside packaging had been opened. Even though factory box appeared to be new and unopened. Unit runs loud and close observation motor sounds like its popping with maybe bad bearings. Since product was in new box I can only speculate it was returned to factory with defects and repackaged as new and resold. Whatever occurred it doesn't appear this brand has very good quality controls. I only purchased this product because it matched existing unit easing installation. I expect this product will fail early and I'm currently searching for another manufacturer door opener.
