The media could not be loaded. These sconces were the best deal for any sconce I saw on Amazon. I believe I purchase the 3 pack for about $30-40 and they arrived quickly. My only disappointment was that nothing in the box was wrapped—I believe I received a returned order. So one of the sconces arrived pretty scratched up. Everything else looked like it was in ok condition. These were also easy to install and I ordered some bases with puck lights for a non-hardwire install. The gold hardware that comes with the lights is a little orange for my liking, but you honestly can’t tell once it’s mounted. Overall, good look and would definitely recommend! ... show more

We chose to hardwire these in. My husband put holes in the wall and drilled through the studs in the wall to wire the lights together. As you can see in one of the photos he put a timer on the back side of this wall in our laundry room so the sconces automatically turn on at 6:00 p.m. and turn off at midnight. I like that I can just reach up and replace the bulb if I need to. He pulled power from the outlet right below the timer in my laundry room (you can see this in the photo's too) This took him one afternoon to do. The sconces came with the worst instructions so figuring out how to assemble the first one took a few minutes but nothing bad. I really like how it turned out! ... show more

They are great quality and really pretty. I converted mine into battery powered by attaching puck lights w/remote. It was easy to convert by removing the hardware inside the lamps. Took me like 5 minutes to swap it out. For this price you are getting a great, pretty and solid product!

Bottom line you get what you pay for. If you're expecting top notched finish on an extremely sturdy unit then you should pay full retail and commit to a major brand. But if you're on a budget and want your solution to be relatively stylish, then these are perfect. Aside from being on the smaller side, some tips I can give after reading all these reviews is: *) Obviously make sure you cut the power off at the breaker and test the wires before starting. 1) Install the metal bracket to your box first. 2) Install the ground wire - lock it down with the green screw, then thread it to your ground with the cap. 3) Install the light arm to the black circle face. The light arm does NOT go through the center hole in the metal bracket, it goes through the faceplate and the washer/ nut tighten it to the faceplate, NOT the bracket. The two decorative screws are what attaches it to the bracket. 4) Wire the black and white wires, then cap them. The cap, when done tightly, will support the weight of the light hanging as you finish installation. Make sure you then heatshrink the wires/caps for safety. A hairdryer will work fine. 5) Place light unit on two screws and fasten with decorative gold nuts. Bulbs are not included but can be found on Amazon from other vendors. Over all use your head - dont over tighten things, come up with a plan before committing, and make sure you do everything safely to the best of your ability. If you're unsure then hire a professional or go with a plugin unit. Also some people talk about installing these outdoors and they are absolutely not rated or built for that. ... show more

These are decent looking and half way decent quality. They are coated pot metal so do not put any undo stress on them. CAUTION: One issue is that the bulb outlet can come unscrewed, pulling out the wires, if u snug the bulb then want to remove it. To help prevent this, BEFORE attaching wires to your house wiring, put the tips of your wire stripping plyers into the grooves inside the bulb outlet, without power applied of course, and snug the outlet into the trim case. If you did already unscrew your bulb and you find the outlet still on your removed bulb (i.e. the wires detached), 1-turn off the switch, 2- remove the sconce from the house wiring and from the wall entirely, 3- unscrew the wingnut, 4- pull the wires out of the sconce body, 5- using two small flat screw drivers, carefully pop the clips off the plastic bulb outlet housing AT THE SAME TIME (I CAUTIOUSLY used the tip of 2 pocket knives), 6- slide the wires through the popped cover and push back into the respective holes (white to outside, black to center bus/metal tab bulb hits inside), 7- pop cover back on, screw into trim case, 8- slide wire back into support pipe, 9- reattach wingnut, continue reinstall. ... show more

Absolutely beautiful high quality lights at an affordable price! If you hesitating don’t, you won’t regret it! I get so many compliments on them and I didn’t even hardwire them in. I used pucker lights for an even easier install.

The construction of these is not bad for the price. The only thing is the gold color on the stem vs the socket vs the small knobs are all different. The stem is more orange gold vs the socket which is more of a yellow gold. Then the small knobs that hold the back plate on are a sort of antiqued gold. So 3 different colored golds going on. I ended up painting them with gold paint so they all match. Other than the color variations on the metals they work well. ... show more
