  • Love these pants
Color: Steel Grey Size: Small
I needed a pair of pants that could comfortably transition from cool mornings and a/c buildings to the hot summer days when I work long production days. I liked that these were moisture-wicking, quick-dry, UPF and looked nice. When they actually arrived I loved the light weight material, feel, and fit. The color was just as I expected. When I traveled to work the pants were great for travel days and long production days alike. I found that my iPhone easily fit in the pockets and liked having the option of zipper and Velcro pockets. I will probably end up ordering at least one more pair because I loved working in them so much. ... show more

  • Best pants ever!
Color: 01-pants-khaki Size: X-Large
I am 5'4" 183lbs for reference. I measured as per the comment suggestions and found I'd be an XL as my hips were 47". I was nervous because comments seem to disagree on fitting (some say size up some say they're perfect) I went with the XL in two colors, khaki & navy and I'm in LOVE. They fit nice and theyre a little loose on my legs but that's perfect. I enjoy that it feels like im not wearing anything and so many pockets! I will definitely be ordering more colors. ... show more

  • comfortable, light attractive travel pants
Color: 01-pants-silver Sage Size: Small
Bought these for a trip to South Africa. Had to return them because they were not sized accurately, but was very pleased with the fabric, style and look . Unfortunately, the vendor has not issued a refund even though we have the UPS receipts to prove they were delivered.

  • Excellent fit, and so comfortable
Color: Navy Size: X-Large
I bought 3 pairs of these silky cargo joggers. I love everything about them! I wear size 16 jeans and I'm 5'5. The xl fits loosely perfect. The ankle bands and waist bands are soft stretch ribbed material that is so comfy! The length is perfect. Can't wait to wear them on my trip. They don't wrinkle, dry fast, look super flattering, and are surprisingly quiet for silky type material. There's not one thing to dislike about these pants! ... show more

  • Okay but not as great as I'd hoped
I read about these in an article about travel and I decided to give them a try. Normally, I wear 511s because they have all kinds of pockets so I don't have to carry a purse. But 511s are not quick to dry so they are a little difficult to wash when traveling. These slacks looked like they would have all the good pockets of 511s but be quicker and easier to wash and dry when traveling. I also liked the cuffed ankles because they make it a lot easier to tuck my slacks into boots and I wear boots a lot. Overall, these slacks fit well and are very comfortable. They are also made out of a quick dry fabric so they are super easy to wash by hand and then dry overnight. But... The pockets. Sigh. Yes, they have a lot of pockets. But they are not good pockets. With my 511s, I tuck soft things into the normal pockets so they don't dig into me when I sit, and then I use the pockets on the thighs for my wallet and cell phone. Perfect. While these slacks have similar pockets, they are placed super awkwardly. If I put my wallet or cell phone in the pockets on the thighs, the pockets are so deep that my wallet and cell phone are slamming into my knees each time I take a step. And if I put the phone or wallet in the top zipper pockets, I can't sit down without them digging into me. My only solution was to sew a seam in the thigh pockets about an 1.5" up from the bottom, thereby creating a new pocket bottom. The pockets are still deep enough for my cell phone in one and the wallet in the other, but they don't beat me up and slam into my knee with each step. My cell phone does come up to the top of the pocket, but it does fit and actually, it can fit in sideways which means it isn't right up at the top of the pocket anyway. Then I just use the zipper pockets for things like a handkerchief or other soft objects that aren't going to dig into me. Honestly, I had great hopes that I could replace my 511s with these slacks, but...no. These slacks are a little more comfortable as they move well and aren't as stiff, but when there are heavy things like wallets or cell phones in the pockets, they can beat me up unless I modify the pockets and that's just kind of annoying. I looked at the construction of the pockets on the 511s and they are made higher up on the thigh to avoid objects slamming the knee with each step. It does mean that more care has to be taken when constructing the slacks because the thigh pockets do overlap the regular pockets on the 511s so they can't just be willy-nilly sewn on the way they are on these slacks to keep both sets of pockets free. I'm sure that that extra work (i.e. avoiding that extra work) is why these slacks have the pockets placed the way they are as the sewing and construction is more straightforward with less chance of the thigh pocket sewing overlapping the construction of the upper pocket (you can tell that I've actually sewn my own clothing before...) so this is really just laziness by the manufacturer. In the end, I'll wear these slacks because I've modified them to make them work (more-or-less) for me by sewing new bottoms on the thigh pockets, but I shouldn't have had to do that and I won't be buying any more of these. If you are buying these because of the pockets and the desire to stop carrying a purse, you may want to reconsider that unless you are very long-legged. Or else you may need to consider sewing new bottoms on the thigh pockets like I had to do. Or maybe it's just that I'm the only one who has the issue of the cell phone battering my knee with every step if it's in the unmodified thigh pocket. ... show more

  • OK, hear me out...
Color: 01-pants-silver Sage Size: Large
Do the elastic cuffs look a little goofy? Indeed, they do. But! When you consider the protection from poison ivy and ticks, it sure beats tucking your cuffs in your socks, and even if you want to tuck in the cuffs, its easier with the elastic there. The fabric is so much lighter and more breathable than jeans, and dries quickly enough that you can hose off dirt or fully wash and wear them again in the same day without needing the dryer. Durability is great: I've washed/worn one pair at least a dozen times now and all the sturdy pockets come in handy for some of my garden projects where I'm carrying around a few tools, the phone, even a water bottle will fit in the leg pocket without getting stretched out. Pair these with some Farmer Defense "sleeves" and you've got a way to keep cool, coverdd, and protected from the elements. Runs true to size ... show more

  • My favorite pants
Color: Black Size: Large
I actually wear these as scrub pants, and I wish I had them in every color! Definitely true to size, super lightweight, comfortable and durable. They are easy to keep clean, and comfortable enough to wear all day long. Lightweight and a good length, the elastic hits right at the ankle. Lots of pockets and they’re nice deep pockets too so things don’t fall out all the time. I wish I had them in every color!! I recommend these to everyone! ... show more
