  • Soft cushion and great support for my back
Size: Obsidian 48 cm Set name: Chair Only
This chair is premium quality throughout. The sleek obsidian appearance completely transformed my home office space. It was incredibly easy to assemble, taking less than 15 minutes. The height adjustment is completely smooth, letting me find the perfect position for my desk. It’s a bit pricy, but absolutely worth it if you spend long hours sitting. My only minor complaint is that the armrests could use a little more padding, but the ergonomic frame and comfort make up for it.Truly an excellent desk chair. ... show more

  • Comfortable Chair with Great Lumbar Support
Size: Obsidian 48 cm Set name: Chair Only
I've been using this chair for my home office, and it's been a solid upgrade. The manual lumbar adjustment is one of my favorite features because it's easy to fine-tune the support until it feels just right for my back. The seat is comfortable for extended periods, and the ergonomic design helps reduce fatigue during long hours at the desk. Assembly was straightforward, and all the parts fit together without any issues. The chair feels sturdy, rolls smoothly, and the overall build quality is better than I expected for the price. It's not overly flashy, but it does exactly what I need—a comfortable, supportive office chair that's pleasant to use every day. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase and would definitely keep using it for daily work. ... show more

  • Good chair, but not perfect
Size: Obsidian 48 cm Set name: Chair + Footrest
Overall, I’m really happy with the Libernovo Omni SE. The chair itself is comfortable, I like the locking reclining modes. Feel as though my posture is much better in this chair, whether it's for office work or for gaming. The "lumbar" adjustment feels odd to me. Rather than push directly towards your lower back, it pushes upwards along your spine. I'm currently running this at the lowest setting and it feels great. The adjustable headrest is great, and I'm easily able to adjust it. The footrest is also a great addition to this chair. I like it enough I might be dragging it around the house when sitting on the couch. I got the cushion for the lower deck and like the feel of that as well. With all that said, there are two things potential buyers should know: I had a slight issue during the initial setup. Whenever I pushed the chair into a full recline, the chair would lower itself all the way. Thankfully, I was able to find a fix for this online, and it has been working fine. My only ongoing concern is the seat cushion itself. It feels a little on the thin side. I feel as though I'm 1/4" from bottoming out in the cushion. I'll be checking to see if others are having a similar issue before contacting support. I've only had a couple of sessions at a few hours each and haven't noticed issues. I'm 5'10" 200# for those who want to know if this is the chair for them. ... show more

  • Great engineering, looks great, good balance between price, features, and quality. Buy this chair!
Size: Obsidian 48 cm Set name: Chair Only
WOW! I got my LiberNovo SE Dynamic Ergonomic Office Chair yesterday, and I put it together in about 20 minutes, so easy with the big card that came with it. It even came with a handy tool to assemble the chair, and I will keep it to work on bicycles and whatnot. I am very impressed with the chair's engineering quality and the ease of assembly. I urge anyone putting these chairs together to have plenty of light, perhaps a flashlight. The chair is the most comfortable office chair I have ever had. I have had only 1 quality office chair before, and I chose this one for the balance of price, features, and quality. I was disappointed that I had only 2 colors to choose from. I chose the black, but I wish I had the option of gray or Space Gray. I ordered the footrest as an afterthought, but I wish I had ordered the chair and footrest as a bundle now. I am very pleased with my purchase. I am very pleased with the chair's adjustability, back support, and overall appearance. I have had a lot of gaming chairs and office chairs and I love this one the best, the better choice over Herman Miller. This is a very good chair and is worth the money, the better buy hands down. Thank you. ... show more

  • I finally found it.
Size: Obsidian 48 cm Set name: Chair Only
So I’ve been looking to get a good office chair for years now. I could never justify the price of these obscenely expensive chairs. I’ve been been looking at LiberNovo for a while now. I really liked their first chair. I just did not like the Electric nature of the back adjustment thing and the gimmicky back stretch thing. I just had no use for it and I could tell that the $1200 it cost was just not gonna be worth it for me. But then they released the SE. Ensure this isn’t exactly a cheap chair but it’s a quarter of the price of the what I think, our chairs in the same class as it. I’ll start with the cons. 1. The chair is a beautiful black. I love the fabric, but literally any piece of hair is going to stick to it. 2. Even though it’s now manual, I still think the back hydraulic thing that goes into your back is gimmicky. I only use it ever so slightly because it will give you some really actually good lumbar support if you just do like a turn or two. Pros: 1. The back rest is incredible. You can practically lay down in this thing. When I first showed my wife how far back it went she got like scared thinking that I broke it. Her exact response was “ wow, you really trust that thing” because it’s incredible how much of a tilt it has. The five different adjustment points are so perfect. I love everything about it. I love how the back rest literally goes follows you as you lean back as well same with the armrest, but I’ll get into that. I know I said that the little hydraulic thingy is Jim key but if you get it right, it feels so good and it has resolved some lingering back pain that I have had. I swear it’s not me going crazy. 2. I think the seat is amazing some people here talk about how you can feel the bottom and yeah, I guess if you put your butt at the edge of it, you’ll feel a little bit of it but if you sit down in it right, you don’t feel it at least I don’t and if you if I do, it’s in no way shape or form in an uncomfortable way. I love this seat. It’s one of the best parts of this thing. 3. The armrests have got to be the best armrest. You could possibly get like I don’t see how you make armrest any better. The amount of adjustment up and down you can do anything with these and the way they move when you go back further just it’s extremely comfortable. I have found myself falling asleep while trying to gain at night in this chair with it laid all the way back in the arm wrists perfectly out my arms. It’s fantastic. This chair is 5/5 for me. I’m a 5’10 185 pound male. This chair might be one of my favorite purchases ever I can’t speak to the longevity of it, but first 2 weeks have been amazing and I can’t recommend it enough. ... show more

  • Worth the money
Size: Obsidian 48 cm Set name: Chair + Footrest
Super comfy, especially with the footrest. I went with the Omni SE Obsidian 48 cm after looking at the original Omni, and honestly, it’s been a really solid upgrade. The back support feels natural and supportive without being too aggressive, and the lumbar support lands in the right spot for me. One thing I really like is the new 115° recline position. It’s perfect for office work because I can lean back just enough to take pressure off my back, but I’m still upright and focused. It feels way more relaxed than sitting straight at 90° all day, but not so reclined that I feel lazy or disconnected from my desk. The seat feels comfortable for long work days and gaming sessions, and the headrest still supports me well when I lean back. The real game changer is using it with the footrest. Highly recommend getting the footrest with it. When I recline and put my feet up, the whole setup feels next level for breaks, gaming, or just winding down. Big upgrade from my old chair. Would definitely buy again. ... show more

  • A Throne Worthy of the Seven Kingdoms
Size: Obsidian 45 cm Set name: Chair Only
I’m sure there are chairs out there that claim to be the “ultimate ergonomic throne,” but this review is about *this* chair — and despite a few quirks, it still gets **5 stars** from me. Also, let’s stop pretending this is the “budget version” of anything. At **$800+**, this chair is not cheap. It may cost less than a Herman Miller or Steelcase, but your wallet will definitely feel it. Most importantly their customer service is phenomenal...ok...superb. Cons (aka: things that made me raise an eyebrow) 1. **No seat‑depth adjustment.** The only *actual* con here. 2. The seat fabric feels thin at first touch, but that’s just because it’s stretchy and breathable. It’s wrapped around the padding — the fabric is just doing its best impression of yoga pants. 3. The seat cushion is softer than I’m used to, but honestly… it’s *really* comfortable, so I can’t complain too much. Pros (aka: reasons I almost fell asleep at my desk) 1. **The 5‑position recline is ridiculous.** Position #5 should come with a warning label: “May cause unexpected naps.” 2. **Desk ergonomics are on point.** The seat practically forces you to sit like a responsible adult, and the armrests support your elbows with the precision of a NASA docking maneuver. 3. **Wheels glide like butter.** My garage floor has raised slotted plastic tiles, and this chair rolls across them like it’s on a red carpet. 4. **Armrests are sneaky good.** They felt weird at first, but once I got used to them, they became one of my favorite features. Soft, comfy, and they keep your posture in check. Additional Notes (aka: why my wife now owns this chair)** I ended up giving this chair to my wife — not because it’s lacking, but because the seat has a very specific vibe: **it feels like an ergonomic office chair and a living‑room recliner had a baby**. It’s amazing for desk work, but it’s *equally* amazing for watching movies, texting, reading, or scrolling through your phone pretending to be productive. As for me, I get hot easily — especially since I lift weights between long work sessions — so I realized I needed a firmer, more traditional office‑ergonomic seat. But for comfort, relaxation, and mixed‑use sitting, this chair is an absolute winner. ... show more

  • Big design limitation: base seat pad is fixed position, does not incline
Size: Obsidian 48 cm Set name: Chair Only
I'm kinda annoyed, as I did a lot of research before buying this chair. I saw vids, and read reviews, but despite all that, I did not read something very important: the seat pad - what your butt rests on - does not move, does not incline, stays in a fixed position even when reclining. So when you push the chair back to different fixed positions, because the seat does not incline to support your legs, you feel as if you're sliding off the front (and probably are). So, without seat pad inclination when reclining, the pressure previously distibuted to your legs goes to your butt, and it's not comfortable. This holds for all the reclining positions until you hit the last fixed position when you're practically supine, and then the pressure on your butt get more distributed over your body. For me, this is a huge limitation in the chair design because I like the bucket chair feel of more even distribution of weight over butt and legs, while this chair puts it mainly on your butt. Other than this, it's a quite good chair. 3/5 tho for me due to this - in my view - serious design limitation. If they enable seat pad inclination, this is probably a 5/5 chair. Don't buy this online if possible, go to a store and sit in it first if possible. ... show more
