Turn the unit upside down and leverage the center open space with a screwdriver. Working out from the center, pop each tab with another screwdriver out to the end and repeat on the other side. This is much easier than trying to chip each tab. The new piece pops right in.

The first three arrived cracked at the end. The boxes were fine so I do not think they got demaged during shipment. My guess is that the quality control of the manufacturer is lacking. It is also way too expensive for a piece of plexiglass. Disappointing. Fortunately the fourth one arrived OK. I was ready to give up on this.

If you’re trying to replace the deli plexiglass, be prepared to have some patience. I’d recommend pulling out that shelf housing because there’s a metal bracket that you cannot see while standing in front of the fridge. Once you pull the shelf housing out, flip it upside down and you’ll see the metal bracket and 4 screws. Remove the screws and bracket so you have some more flex in the plastic shelf housing to remove the old plexiglass. It wasn’t a super fast removal of the plexiglass, but getting that metal bracket off definitely helps. Upon installing the new piece, also be careful as there are no instructions. I essentially pushed it back into the groove carefully but I didn’t hear the little nobs click into place. After setting it back into the fridge, the deli tray has about a 1/4 inch gap from that bottom shelf. I couldn’t tell if that was because I did not get the replacement piece all the way into the groove, or because the replacement piece is aftermarket. Either way, it was better than looking at the cracked one that I replaced. Also, I had to order the product twice because the first shipment arrived broken.

Item had a chip but seller made it right! Install is easy after you get old one out. I used a small screwdriver and chipped the barbed tab on clear plastic. I chipped every one of them and then pried the old clear plastic out of slot. It came out in 5 minutes and new price popped right into place. This could have been a real pain but this way made it simple as could be. Thanks again to supplier for making everything ok

Fits like a glove but difficult to remove old piece. You have to break the old piece in order to fit the new one in.

I ordered this product and it was cracked then placed a second order only to get the exact same one that was cracked sent back to me. Now had to order a third one hoping one of there products won’t be busted.
