  • Amazing projector for the price
Much more convenient and aesthetic than a TV, with great speakers and built in software. Setup is easy and haven't had any issues for the first few weeks we've had it. Only minor cons are that images can be hard to see if projected on a wall that gets sunlight during the day and generates quite a bit of heat. ... show more

  • Bad projector
Unfortunately I didn’t read the reviews before I bought this product however none of the bad reviews were relevant with my problem. because I didn’t have my screen yet I projected it on my wall and the picture was extremely lopsided I was thinking it was because possibly my wall was not even. I took it into another room and on that wall it was lopsided in different areas. today I got my screen and once I hooked up my projector again the picture was wobbled and warped. What’s strange is when I tried to use the 4 , 9 or 15 point edge adjustment it would not let me change the border in the areas that I needed to. However after letting it run and watching a show for about 30 minutes I can see that it doesn’t really matter because the picture changes from one moment to the next especially if you touch the unit it is as if it has a loose lens or something. ... show more

  • It’s loud
I bought this amazing projector 2 months ago, and I am using it everyday, it has very sharp picture, also very good sound, a lot of apps built in to it and the design looks good too, the only issue I have with this projector the loud noise of the fan, it is very noticeable, I like ti sit very close to the screen sometimes specially when I watch sports and I can hear it clearly, if you don’t mind the noise coming out of it then this is perfect one to buy. I don’t write reviews usually but I thought this is something people need to know before buying an expensive device like this. ... show more

  • I rarely write reviews but wow!
The media could not be loaded. Simply blown away by the easy set up, superb quality and brightness! We have a dedicated media room that I recently painted dark dark gray and it performs great. Mind you this is on a monterey textured wall! I am awaiting the 120inch screen to arrive and I can't wait. The speakers that it comes with sound pretty good for what it is. It's basically a sound bar and has great volume, obviously won't have too much bass but hits really well, especially music on youTube. Netflix and YouTube are built in and you have the APP store to download other apps. After doing tons of my own research (youtube videos ETC.) I decided to go with this projector. You won't regret it. 👍👍 ... show more

  • Disappointing picture quality and sounds
I bought the one because it has Apple play built in and I always trusted the brand. The Xgimi Aura 4K was the other one that interested me so I bought both to compare them. I usually never do that but it was too important of a purchase this time. Conclusion: I kept the Xgimi. The level of black was much better, the skin on the face of the people was much better. The sounds quality was also much better. The remote control felt better quality being made of aluminum. The Xgimi fan is less noisy. The Xgimi boot time is much less and It looks better. ... show more

  • Like having a 120" Flat screen TV
I have to admit, we were a bit hesitant about dropping this kind of money on a projector. However, we wanted a short throw, 4k projector for our newly remodeled, outdoor covered patio. Now, we know it's not meant to be outside for long periods so we bought a short, heavy duty printer cart so we could roll the thing outside and back inside. We had an extra Roku and hooked that up too. The thing is a beast. Remember those old late 70's/early 80's VCR's? Yeah, big and heavy so not exactly ideal for mobile use. I was shocked by the image quality. You forget it's a projector the images are so crisp and sharp. The sound is good too and another feature we plan to use is the bluetooth to add some JBL outdoor speakers. It was a bit of a headache to get it all setup after we turned it on but we got through it. We don't have the wall space inside to use it without some major furniture shuffling so for now, it sits on the cart, in the family room until we want to go outside and watch it. What we wonder is how the summer humidity will affect the lens going from a/c. Will it fog up? Guess we'll find out. Overall we are very happy with our choice. ... show more

  • Defects developed right after return window, LG Repair returned the device more broken
I spent $2600 on this device and it developed defects shortly after amazon's return window. I sent it off for repair to LG three times now and each time received it in a more defective state than when it was sent. It took months and many many hours of back and fourth via email and phone calls before LG finally issued me a full refund. ... show more

  • Poor QC. Do not buy!
My projector has a few issues. Picture has this constant color shift jumps. Meaning the color balance switches randomly and it's quite noticeable. Brightness is terrible even with a ALR screen from Vividstorm. If you want even medium brightness and contrast then the highlights start to clip and gets this ugly yellow. People's skin tone starts to look like cheddar cheese. I tried to order a different one to see if I got a lemon. The new one arrived completely dead. Just get a white screen on boot. By that time I missed my Amazon return window. Sucks cause this projector is one of the few that has the shortest through that would work in my space. ... show more
