Was perfect. For 32 days. 2 days after pasting maximum return date it stopped blowing cold air. No leaks, no damage, no blockage. Seems a bit pricey for something that cant reach 2 months. For the price, defective units should be rare. Alost feels like it's rigged to break after the return date. It was installed properly as my friend is a licensed handyman who excells at his job. We even wired up a custom 240 for it. Everything checked out perfectly. The compressor still comes on, now it blows cold air out of the back instead of the front. Asked about what that was happening, they asked if I installed it right after saying it worked fine until the morning hit. Didn't freeze up or anything, just stoped working. Chat we get about 8-10 weeks a rev at 110-120⁰f... it's ohio brutal. I had a small window unit that was built into my wall before I moved in that sucked moms. Maxxing, it would keep the temp at ~100 and idk how i did it. I had to fix the ol drunkards hole and frame in a new opening with proper jacks and it was a lot of work but, christ on a cracker, my nipples could cut glass in here. My unit compressor failed within 3 .months of use. Lg sent their repairman to confirm who promised a refund since still under warranty. After 2 months and 10 phone call I am still trying to get a resolution and payment. Customer service is absolutely disgusting. I will never due business again. UPDAtE: Now lg tells me that they require proof that the label with serial number that is attached to the unit has been destroyed. They tell me this was include in a text that was not sent to me untill one month after their repair man told me the unit was not repairable . I actually was also told to ignore the autmated texts as they had already aproved a refund in earlier stage of the process. I had disposed of the unit right after I was told it was not repairable since I was never adviced by phone or text to do otherwise. t So LG says they will not pay anything although still under warranty because the label is now gone, even though they admit that the destruction of the label was never asked of me untill nearly a month after I was told that the unit was no good. Lg's failure to inform me of any need for the label untill it was weeks too late is a total outrageous scam for them to reject the warrenty claim. This company should be bared from doing business in the US. I will share my experience with this unethical company in every social media platform I can. ... show more
