A few months ago, I started playing bari sax for my school's pep band. I do have experience though since I've been playing alto sax for about 7 and a half years and have been regularly using strength 2.5 and 3 reeds for the past few years. I started on a 2.5 with the bari sax and found it doable but a little difficult. Strength 2 was perfect for me. It's easy for me to play, but still has some resistance and isn't too easy.
