Chair looks great and was easy to assemble by myself, taking about 20 minutes total including taking pieces out of box, laying them out and reviewing instructions. Not sure why it would take much longer, but some advice is not to tighten the bolts until it’s fully assembled so you have some give all around and can align the bolts in to the holes more easily. Cushions are a bit firm but seat is roomy and should break in nicely. Arms, legs and support bar are all solid wood so I anticipate the chair to last quite some time. I bought an open box version and only saw some small discoloration on one leg, looks like it was missed in the staining/finishing process. It’s not noticeable from the front and I can color it in with furniture markers if it bothers me. Worth the price reduction for sure and if I buy a second one it would be the open box version as well. ... show more

These chairs look great, are sturdy, comfy, and were easy to assemble. They look way more expensive than they are. The color they describe as brown is more of a darkish beige, which is exactly what I wanted.

We needed some small-ish chairs for our living room, to go in front of our woodstove in winter, and these definitely fit the bill. They're not super fancy, but that's not what we wanted anyway. Just reasonably well-built and sturdy cushioned chairs so we could relax with a glass of wine in front of the fire. (We also bought a small narrow table to go between them.) Anyway, assembly wasn't too bad, but having two people to position this cushions when putting in the screws really helps. Also, don't tighten down everything until all of the screws are in place. And I didn't rate highly on support because I have a lousy back and short legs, so I did need to add an extra lumbar pillow for myself. But with that, it's comfortable enough. Pretty decent chair if you just want something that is reasonably comfortable, looks nice, and isn't too expensive. ... show more

Note: The two imperfections are minor and are mostly concealed int he final product, but still disappointing. I will edit this review to reflect my interaction with customer service. The back is a little stiff, but the seat is so so comfortable. The seat is a good height for sitting or throwing your legs up on an ottoman/pouf. Assembly was very quick and easy. Wood is a little light (as expected for the price) but has a nice finish with no imperfections except those I pictured. Upholstery is a sturdy and comfortable fabric and had no imperfections. The packaging seemed secure with styrofoam, foam wrapping and an empty box to keep everything in place, but minor damage still occurred. ... show more

It arrived on time, and was so easy to put together! I listened to some reviews and left the back screws loose until I could line up the screw that went to the bottom cushion. Easy breezy! I love the color, the deep seat cushion, and the mid-modern design of the arms! So beautiful! It's going to go perfectly in my guesthouse space! I purchased two and was able to assemble them both in less than 20 mins by myself. I recommend lining everything up loosely screwing and then once all pieces are where they go tighten it all up. Easy peasy. The chairs look great, they are lower than I anticipated but fit wonderfully in my space. The back is VERY firm and the back is also quite low but the seat is comfortable, we added some nice pillows to soften up the backs. These are accent chairs, you are not going to want to have this be your comfy space to curl up and watch tv.
