I must say a noticeable difference blocking out the afternoon sun. Simple to install and everything is included, also a paper pattern to mark the holes. The brackets are plastic and we’ll see how that will hold up with use and the sun. Basic simple window shade that does as advertised.

This is a very good, inexpensive vinyl roller shade. I got the really large one, 70 W x 72 L. I installed it almost entirely by myself, and it wasn't too bad. I measured my screw placement using the included folded up piece of paper -- which you unfold the paper guide into full length -- then use it as a guide to mark the screw holes by penciling-in the hole guides on each end. Unfortunately, I found the paper guide holes to be too short by approx 1/4" total. If I had extended the guide holes to be 1/8 of an inch further out on each end of the paper, then marked-in the pencil holes, I wouldn't have then needed to re-do one of my brackets to move it 1/4" further out (at that point, I sure wasn't going to redo both brackets as 1/8 + 1/8 further). The brackets do provide between 1/8" to 1/4" opening to slide along your placed screw, but for me, it was still 1/4" total length measure too short -- even with the allowance of the bracket slide opening for the screw. Once the brackets were up and adjusted correctly, I found it easier to attach the right-side first, then the left, although the instructions say do just the opposite. However, for me, this install was the very wide 70" shade, and the right bracket is a square with side peg slots, and I needed to eyeball that end better to install that side first. That's where I needed help from my hubby to hold the shade up on the left side, while I attached the right side first, then moved over to the left side and inserted it into the easier round-stared end bracket. The shade is up! It looks good, it's definitely light blocking, and it rolls up smooth and quiet! When pulling slightly down and letting go it then rolls up nice and slow, which I like, and on the initial test, it stopped about 5 inches from the top, which for me is perfect!!! I did not have to do any adjustments of the roller-spring, and that I much appreciated. Because it's vinyl, it will be easy to clean by using a slightly damp cloth. Yes, it's a good, inexpensive vinyl shade from a name brand and I hope it last the 15 years like my last one did! Recommend this shade!

We needed to quickly install a shade in our guest room to block out the morning sun. We didn’t have a lot of time to shop around and Levelor is a known company so this seemed like a good option. There is no real information about measuring to get the correct size. I measured the inside of our window frame and ordered that size, but it didn’t mention to account for the size of the brackets anywhere. Once the brackets were installed on the inside of the frame, the shade didn’t have enough room to fit on, so we had to move them to the outside of the frame. Speaking of the brackets, they are cheap white plastic and seem like they could break at any moment. The blind looks and feels like something you’d see in a dentist’s office. It’s bright-ish white and has a extremely utilitarian appearance. It sometimes takes a few tries to get it up once it’s down. The motion is pretty lethargic. It did the job of keeping the room a little darker in the morning, but because it had to be installed on the outer part of the frame, the sun did creep in behind the edges. This worked ok for a temporary solution for us, but there is no way we were are going to leave it up long-term.

The image accurately represents the product. Unfortunately, I ordered the wrong size, but I improvised by mounting it in a smaller window, and it still works well. The shade was easy to install by myself and the cordless design makes it safer and cleaner looking. It blocks out light effectively and the neutral white fabric blends nicely with my room decor. The roller mechanism is smooth and doesn’t get stuck, and it feels sturdy for daily use. Even though I didn’t get the perfect fit, it still does the job and looks good in my space. I recommend this product.

This was easy to install by one person without help. The fabric itself is completely opaque, but there will inevitably be light coming in through the sides. Even if I had managed to get a with that would exactly fit inside my frame (I’d need about 1.4” wider), there would still be a ~0.6” gap on each side because of the roller bracket width. Other than that, my only complaint is that it can take several tries to get it to roll up again after I pull it down. It sometimes doesn’t go all the way back up the first time. For the price, I would expect better.
