    • Speeds So Fast You Can’t Even Keep Up
I’ve been using Genki for around 4-5 years at this point and all of their products have never broken, nor disappointed. This is in that product pool. They function extremely well, supporting data speeds up to what they mentioned which is already more than anyone could need. The most data transfer your device is probably capable of is at a maximum 1 GB/s (Gbps), so this is 10x more capable. I’ve been able to use these in many different appliances from music creation such as MIDI adapter to power adapters, making it compatible with most, if not all devices that support USB-A. For the amount of these that you receive in the package for the price of nearly $10, I really don’t think you could get a better deal. The value is just insane. ... show more

These work as expected and the look and feel is high quality. Because of the high transfer speed it works with stuff like the legato face cam and Shure mics. Happy to have purchased it

As a freelance IT dude, I've almost always had the situation where I needed a certain cable to perform or complete a give job, and find myself rifling through my kit bag for the right one, *then* making an urgent run to a shop that might have it (good luck with that if you don't live in a large city). Adapters have become a must-have in my bag – in fact I now keep a handful on-hand, since I often need to leave them in a client's system to keep things working, especially if it involves connecting a new component to an older existing system. And there are now only a few brands I trust for these adapters, Cable Matters being the newest. I've been using their Thunderbolt 4 cables for a while – among the VERY few cables officially certified, and not just "compatible with" T4 specs – so I figure they can't be too shabby with making adapters. So far, they've been very good, to the point that I'll be ordering them by the multiple two-packs on a regular basis and I won't feel uneasy about handing them out to clients but worries about not having any left when the need suddenly arises. THESE CONNECTOR ADAPTERS WORK AS SHOULD

    • They work in both directions - no flipping - no slow speeds
These work in both directions no matter how you plug the C side in. You don't have to "flip" the cable to get the speed. Between RUFUS and all the bi-directional claims of others or 2 sided claims all I can say is you will get the 10Gb speed in both directions without having to "flip" the cable. I was skeptical with this one because the price was low but the vendor assured me it would work and it does. I have used Cable Matters products for more years than I care to remember and should have known they would work. ... show more
