Use it to set the tower fan as you like.Auto Mode: With a built-in sensor, the fan speeds change by room temperature.Turbo Mode:Used for quick cooling and air circulation, it starts at the highest speed plus oscillating. When the room temperature decreases, the fan speed decreases accordingly. Then the fan speed changes by room temperature.Advanced Sleep Mode: The display and sound will automatically be off in 5 seconds.a) Within the first hour, the fan does not oscillate. The starting fan speed is determined by your current fan speed when you select this mode.b) After one hour, the fan oscillates and decreases speeds - to keep you from getting cold from the constant wind.c) Then the fan speeds will change by temperature, giving you a comfortable night experience.2. TroubleshootingIf the fan suddenly starts to oscillate,It is normal when the fan is in Advanced Sleep Mode. It will automatically start oscillating after one hour of operation, which is its default setting. If the air output has decreased after cleaning the wind wheel,Please make sure that the screws are aligned with the flat surface of the motor shaft during installation, not the arc surface, otherwise the air output will be reduced! If the fan suddenly stops,It could be a timer accidentally set before. Kindly Check it and try it for a second time.If the top control panel is not so responsive,Check whether your fan is in Advanced Sleep Mode or manually set screen off. When the fan is screen off, the operation panel will enter a semi- sleep state to prevent accidental touch. I have several Levoit products and love their reliability so I try to stick with brands that I trust. This go around I found a Levoit used-like new tower fan on Amazon that was supposed be be in perfect condition and usually these items come as so, but not this one. It was returned by a customer who had broken the unit by appearing to have knocked it over while plugged in. It had multiple points of damage with the plug prongs bent which can cause an electrical fire or plug failure, scratches on top and back of unit and won’t attach to the base to stand up and swivel as well as missing the remote and instructions. Amazon didn’t want to make THEIR mistake right from the start saying they can’t do anything accept take the return back and told me to call Levoit to see what they can do. After starting the warranty process with Levoit and some back and forth since this wasn’t a typical warranty claim for them they ended up telling me they were shipping me a brand new unit with zero damage and all parts in tact. This was unexpected as the unit being sent how it was had nothing to do with them or the quality of their products. For Levoit to make this right shows so much about the values that the company stands on. I will continue being a long lasting customer of Levoit products. Now for the size of the unit, it stands tall which I like. This thing is also SO QUIET even on high. It did have great power even on lower settings and not noticeable and blows cool air vs some fans blowing just the air as it is. It’s not an air conditioner cool, but it is cooler than the air it takes in. There are several settings as well. An excellent tower fan that looks good too. The price premium is worth it for the extra features you get. I really like how quiet it is while still moving enough air. My only complaint is how it comes with the same cheap, lightweight, plastic base that tower fans half its price come with. There is a lot of wobble at the base. ... show more

DC motor fan is very quiet, noticeable at top level 12, but tolerable, not so loud the TV volume needs increasing. Sleep mode is ok. Auto temp mode is a nice feature. 90d rotation is smooth and quiet.

Pros: Quiet operation Remote with a mute button to silence the annoying beeps Great airflow Tall height means it can go over low obstacles Temperature display is a nice bonus. Cons: Capacitive touch buttons. Very common on new devices but I prefer physical buttons. It does have a remote though. No dust filter of any kind on the intake. I know it's not an air purifier but it would be good to have some rudimentary filter on there to prevent dust from getting into the fan. It's so big that it's very noticeable in the room. I suppose this can be said for most fans. Other thoughts: The actual fan blades start about 14" off the floor. I don't know who needs airflow that close to the floor but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. There are a lot of features in "sleep mode" which lowers or raises the speed automatically based on room temp. I will just stick to using the remote though. ... show more
