I received this lever-action pump through the Amazon Vine Program, and I've found it to be an excellent and practical tool to have on hand for emergency water. It's a great tool to pump non-potable water from our French drain pump basin. Because the water table around our house is at about the same height as our basement floor, we always have a reliable source of clean water there. The pump worked great, performing exactly as it should. The price of around $70 is a good value when you consider that similar pumps on the market can cost upwards of $140. While it is a plastic pump and might seem overpriced, it's still a bargain compared to its competitors. The kit came with one of the pipes a bit bent, but this minor cosmetic flaw didn't affect the pump's ability to get the job done. It's important to note that this pump is not intended for drinking water. I would not use it for that purpose, as it is designed for fuels and oils. For emergency water for washing or flushing, however, it is a reliable and well-priced tool that provides peace of mind. ... show more

Solid transfer pump for barrels. I use it to move diesel from my small tanks to my larger fuel caddy. Works great. Pump is easy to use and moves fluid pretty rapidly.
