I decided to Give Leven a try at the price they sold it for, and I was shocked at the overall performance. I am using this in a Asus PN50 4500U Mini PC as the main OS drive and even with the background programs running I was still able to maintain some impressive speeds especially in the 4KiB test which are nearly double that compared with other brands of SATA3 SSDs I own. I will buy from Leven again. UPDATE: I put half instead of "double" so I fixed that typo. Also I did a 1TB of video transfer from another SSD to this one and had no sudden drop in transfer speed. So I am very pleased with this drive, and will recommend these guy for those that are on a budget yet want a high capacity SSD.

With Samsung abandoning the mSATA drive space, I thought I'd try two of these 512GB version of the Leven brand drives to increase the storage capacity of my Dell 6430u laptops. Need to have another source of reliable-ish mSATA drive brands other than Kingston. Both failed to function properly in the laptops. Was able to install the OS but the drive will eventually disappear causing the laptop to hang. Tried different OSes with the same results. Was not stable when installed in a Dell AIO desktop computer either. No problem I thought, I'll just place these drives into a mSATA to 2.5" SATA adapter to use them in other computers that uses the 2.5" drive form factor. The adapter used works great with 1TB Samsung 860 EVO mSATA drives and the Leven drives appeared to work fine with acceptable throughput. But this morning, I couldn't boot the Toshiba laptop that one of these Leven drives was installed in. Did some troubleshooting and not only does the Toshiba laptop report the drive as FAILED, tested with other computers and they also will not recognize the Leven drive anymore. IT BE DEAD, so back it goes for refund. Perhaps it is just crib death and hopefully the second Leven will have a longer lifespan, but time will tell.

I ordered 4 of these drives. Of the 4 my computers did not even realize 3 of them were there. The other one was 50/50 sometimes windows recognized it, sometimes not. Never worked at all on my apple machines. Honestly, spend another $5-10 to get a Kingston, Samsung, or another reputable brand. It will save you a lot of time and annoyance

Bought this for my PS4 Pro, and boy does it work. Swapping out the drives was quick and easy. Followed the steps online to reload the OS. Booted up fine with no issues. Took maybe 30 minutes total. System boots much faster as do most games (sorry, AC Odyssey and Valhalla are still slow as mud). And downloads are faster. Went from about 80Mbps to up around 320Mbps. I'm guessing the lack of a buffer means DLs are reduced to the speed the HDD can save the info. Patched Mass Effect LE's 10GB patch in a fraction of the time. Got the 2TB version. OS shows 1.84GB usable. Not bad for the low cost of the drive. I've been telling all my friends with PS4 Pros to snag one of these drives as they are worth every penny...now I'm telling you ^_^

Installed into a pcie adapter card into an old 9 years old motherboard. AS Rock Z77 Pro 3 motherboard. This thing screams! Speeds like these are just not possible with this old hardware unless you have installed a PCIe adapter card and this drive. You must boot to “clover boot loader” first then select your Leven m.2. I get 2-3 second bootup. Its just crazy. Its faster than my wife's brand new laptop. Very happy with purchase solid stable and seems to run cool with heatsinks installed. Great Value and Leven has been around a long time as a trusted manufacturer of reliable products. Money well spent. Would like to try the larger size when funds become available. Remember this is ONLY RUNNING AT HALF SPEED DUE TO my MOBO LIMITATIONS. Speeds like these are not possible with this motherboard unless you have an adapter pci (This is the Adapter card I used. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07JKH5VTL/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_QPRWK89PG5YAD7JN331W) and this Leven drive. Im keeping my old 3570K as not its like a whole new machine. Try it out on your old hardware, use your brain this week, reuse old pc from landfill and have fun. Cheers!

I bought this Leven 512gb ssd to replace my spinning hdd in my aging laptop. As expected, performance improved significantly. Started with a fresh install of Windows 10, which indicated only 476.9 gb (488,386 mb) capacity, NOT 512 gb, as advertised. Crystal Disk Mark also indicated 476 gb capacity, not the advertised 512 gb. I ran Crystal Disk Mark immediately after install, and a couple more times over a week. Results were on par with expected performance for an ssd.

This drive is nice value. Few issues, make sure your motherbord M.2 slot supports both PCIE & SATA ssds because some don't support sata m.2 and you wont be able to figure out why this card is not functioning. Card has leds on it which I like because it shows that it is getting power but it might bother some people with cool rgb setups. The read and write speeds are attached as a photo pretty decent. The ssd drops 20% of its writing speed when downloding large files but that is expected. The temperature reading on the ssd is a flat 40C it does not fluctuate whatsoever which makes me believe that the temperature sensor does not work. I don't care about this much but it might be a concern. I got it to store a few lrge files that I need to be able to access quickly. I am happy with the purchase and would recommend it, just be sure you know what you are doing and you have the m.2 standoff and screw supplies with your motherboard. Cheers, Vote if helpful :)
