This tastes great and it is an excellent source of casein. Also mixes well. I did some rough calculations and it is slightly less expensive than obtaining the same amount of protein from cottage cheese!

Delicious. Great ingredients. However, still kind of gritty in a shaker cup. I’m okay with it because I’m a chugger but others may not like this. I may try a blender one of these days but 99% of the time, shaker cup is what I use.

I had to switch to this protein powder because it’s the only one I can find without sucrose. Be careful of those advertising “sweetened with Stevia” because when it arrives, you’ll see it also has Sucralose. I should have known because they don’t show a picture of the ingredients. Sucralose makes my knees hurt and that’s what made me read the ingredients. Sure enough, there it was right along with the stevia. This is more bland tasting so I add a splash of keto syrup to it. It mixes very easily, no clumps and the ingredients are very clean.

So, I do recommend this product, but do NOT buy it from Amazon and buy it directly from the Levels website to avoid wasting your money on stale products. I have bought the 2lb tub from Amazon on repeat in the past, it has been a pantry staple. That is until this last time where I finally decided to get the 4lb tub. The 4lb tub is completely stale and inedible. I contacted Levels support, and they cannot issue refunds for Amazon issued products. I suspect that the product got overheated or something in Amazon’s storage or transport system. Lesson learned: Buy directly from the Levels website, they have product guarantees and full support there. That aside, Levels Vanilla Casein protein powder is amazing. I cannot process much fake sugar, and there is very minimal in here. It packs a fantastic protein punch— 24g of protein for 100 calories is unbeatable. The vanilla flavor is very versatile, great as just a protein drink, blended into smoothies, and perfect for protein baking where I usually use equal parts of whey and casein.

I was nervous having never tried this before and buying such a big jug. Not gonna lie, this one DID meet my requirements however, it was the cute cow that had me sold. But honestly, it is very low carb/sugar which is good for my strict keto diet. It is very filling to where I've replaced a meal with it. Large scoop size with easy to find scoop. Great value, price is acceptable. This product does have a slightly gritty/chalky texture which I noticed the first time I drank it. I very quickly got used to the texture and it doesn't bother me at all now. I crave this drink everyday. I use one scoop along with either one strawberry or 2 raspberries with a couple blueberries along with one slice of banana, 1-2 ice cubes, top off with water and blend in my smoothie blender. I have this for breakfast after my keto coffee and I have it in the evening when I get home from the gym. I'm on my second jug within one month but only because I drink it so often. I love it! Also, I do not write reviews...I think this is my first one ever but it's so good I had to!

Overall, this is a decent protein, but it wasn’t my favorite. The quality seems good and it’s nice knowing it’s a clean casein option, but the texture is where it falls short for me. It has a slightly gritty consistency and doesn’t blend as smoothly as I expected, even when using a shaker. It’s drinkable, just not as enjoyable as other proteins I’ve tried. The flavor is okay — not bad, but nothing that really stands out. I think this could work better if mixed into recipes like oatmeal or yogurt instead of just drinking it straight. If you’re mainly focused on clean ingredients, it might be worth trying. But if texture and smoothness matter to you, there are better options out there.
