There are a few things that determine if a water bottle is “good” to me: • Look • How easy it is to drink water ( is it vented for easy water and air flow?) • Is it neat/leak proof? • Easy to clean • Capacity So, I am a Gallon of water a day drinker. It’s easier to drink four, 32 oz bottles than 5 or more from a smaller bottle. I typically use the 32 oz plastic bottles but, I have a 24 oz stainless steel auto-seal bottle that I use when I go to theme parks. The thing that I noticed is that of course, vacuum sealed thermal bottles, maintain their temperature, without regard to the weather around, for the most part. I found myself taking the smaller bottle to the gym because now that it is spring, my gym, and I am glad, they do not turn the air conditioning on while we work out, thus making it 80 °plus, in the gym. The stainless steel would stay cold but I needed it to hold more… ta dahhhhh! Enter, Contigo. One reason I stopped using my other smaller bottle is because I had an ER nurse that I know tell me that if I got in an accident and that thing went flying, I could get hit in the head. Well to my surprise, while I tried before this a 32 oz bottle that “fit” my cup holder, it fit so badly ( Ford Edge) that it would wobble and fall. This bottle, it doesn’t fit all the way down in the cup holder but it fits so snugly, not that I don’t think that it would dislodge in an accident but, I wouldn’t be surprised if it did not. I love the look of this smooth black color. The Auto Seal, doesn’t leak and it’s awesome for someone like me that hates those straws you have to touch. The auto seal is vented so you can gulp as much water, easily, with great air flow as you need. I really love this and I hope it never gets discontinued. Love this! The only drawback is… there is no way I’m chancing the Stainless Steel part and putting this in the dishwasher but I don’t see another way to TRULY clean the lid. This lid… I run It through the dishwasher at least every couple days because the underneath part, where the mechanisms are… there is no way to REALLY clean it otherwise. ... show more

This has been my go to water bottle for the past 6 years. I love the newer design of the lid. It makes it so much easier to clean! The locking feature and flip-top are helpful if you want to throw it in your bag. Ice stays cold for longer than 24 hours, so no complaints there. My only criticism is that it will EVENTUALLY start leaking around the top. I think I’ve had 4 of these in the last 6 years, and they all have started leaking after about a year to 18 months of use. It has a fantastic seal for the first year though. It holds up well to usage. I’ve dropped mine many times. It has a few dents, but they are minor. It fits well in almost any cup holder. Overall, I would highly recommend it, but I may try an Owala next and see how it compares. ... show more

This is not my first purchase. I’ve been buying these for a decade and love them! They are easy to us because there isn’t a latch, they are airtight which keeps the water colder longer. They last forever, I just like to buy them in different colors. The water tastes great and it’s the only way I will drink water at all. I wasn’t sure I would like the push to operate spout on this water bottle but it is almost addictive! The water pours out without air locks. It is comfortable to use. My water stays cold all day. It looks nice and fits into my drink holders.

Bottle is really nice and I love the auto seal and anti leak works great and with kids in sports it is much needed. Size an style are great and contigo is really the only brand I buy so far. This is my favorite water bottle. It does what you expect and keeps the water cold and feels good in the hand. What I like most is the button to release the flow of water. It means you can easily drink from it using only one hand and I’ve never had it leak yet.

I love my Contigo water bottle. It keeps things cold for hours! The new design is a little taller, and the top is far superior for easy cleaning. Super happy with the updates they have been made. The original bottle lost its bottom shortly after purchase, so the edges are a little sharp and I’m careful when putting it on a table, but it remains useable, but ready to be retired, mostly due to top that is difficult to clean. I don’t like to drink out of a straw and love this design. The bottle is great for travel and I take it everywhere. The sip mechanism has a protective cover that ensures nothing touches it, reassuring my germaphobic tendencies and I’ve never had this bottle leak. ... show more
