Small indoor heater, super quiet, not heavy at all, it has a security pin at the bottom that way it will automatically stop heating in case it's not vertical set, it heats super quick, I love it when I am working since it keeps my secret warm. It has two different heat options, one low and high, it also has a fan option. It is worth it.

This Lerat Electric Space Heater is actually really good. It heats up fast and fills the room quick even though it’s small. I like how easy it is to move around and use anywhere. This heater has no thermostat! You turn it on and it runs and runs and runs. Allegedly it has "overheat protection." If you want to trust that, go ahead and buy it. Any grown-up would design a space heater to heat the room to the desired temperature, AND SHUT OFF!!! As I type I'm on the phone with Amazon arranging a return. I want this fire hazard out of my house right now!

The media could not be loaded. I took the Lerat heater out of the box and plugged it in. I didn't need a phone app or to read a book sized set of instructions to operate it. It just has one knob on the front with three small graphics. I said to myself, self let's see if we can figure this out, and I did. Turn the knob one time and it turns it on to fan. Cool air circulates. Nice, comfortable air for those of us who hate the still, stagnant air in our room or office space. Turn the knob again and low heat comes on. I was about 2 to 2-1/2' away and within a second hot air was hitting me and I had to step back a bit because it was just a tad too hot for me. It was quiet too. I tipped it 5 degrees and it shut off completely. I turned the knob to the final graphic and it seemed to be about the same amount of heat for a second or two but did get a bit hotter. Again I tipped the heater and immediately. it shut off. For me that worked beautifully and is vitally important in an office where staff may kick it accidentally if an emergency occurs and they have to jump up and attend to it. I want to know the heater will shut down as required. I appreciate the back having an area allowing me to pick up the heater and move it comfortably without having to use two hands to hold the sides. One handed pickup and it is so light it is a breeze to move around. Maybe I'll never have to do it but it is a nice addition. I always think the cords are too short and this heater is no exception. If it were to sit on a desk for a staff person whose hands are always cold, the cord may be too short for the closest outlet. We are not permitted to plug a heater into a surge protector or extension cord and must unplug them when they are not in use. Thus, a longer cord is an important feature. For that I took a star off though really only a half star would be necessary if I could so 4.5 stars is my rating. The price currently of $25.99 is excellent but at $39.99 I'd like to see a remote included so one wouldn't have to bend done under the desk if it was on the floor. That would be more comparable to other fans like this one.
