Love this lamp, it totally fits the mid century modern vibe for our living space. It was quick and easy to assemble. It’s lightweight and easy to move around. I love that it uses a standard light bulb so you get to choose the type of light it gives off. We went with a warm bulb and it disperses the light so perfectly!! It gives a nice warm glow to the room without being too much. It’s not the ‘most’ stable but the tripod shape really is a good design for stability & style! For the price, this lamp is a good value. Assembly was easy. The instructions were not well written and had a page of German language instructions mixed in with the English instructions, but the illustrations made clear what was needed. There is also an assembly video you can watch using a QR code in the manual. You won't need any tools, they come included. The lampshade is OK, but has a seam that you have to hide. The lamp is stable as compared with a single pedestal lamp. You will appreciate this if you put it on carpeting. The legs come in three parts, but after assembly you can't really tell unless you look for the screws. It comes with a cord that has a foot switch incorporated. As far as looks, it is basic, but attractive. Good for a students room or a small apartment with other inexpensive furniture. ... show more

GIRL. I love it. My partner put it together super quickly so assembly was a breeze. It looks expensive even though it’s budget. When I saw the listing photos I wasn’t sure but when I saw it in person especially after putting a bulb in… UGH I LOVE IT! It’s so pretty and a soft light for low light chill vibe. Its not cold and gross it’s warm luxurious bright. She’s nice and stable and the cord hiding section is MAGIC. This is a buy for sure. Updated Review (7/2024): I just bought a second one of these lamps for my office. I got it in the darker legs for the office to match the dark desk. I posted a picture of the new dark legged lamp next to the one that has lighter legs so it’s easier for shoppers to see how the two color options compare to each other. Shades appear to be the same color. Again, super great value, sturdy, and functional. The holes didn’t line up great when I was assembling it (can’t remember if that was the case with my first one) but with some finagling and muscle, I was able to make it work. Super happy with my repeat buy!! Original Review: I looked at a lot of tripod lamps - some that were nearly 3 times the price of this one. In general, all seemed to have the same ratings, assembly process, etc. so I figured I’d take my chances on this one and am so happy I did! Yes, you have to assemble it, but it’s not hard and once assembled, it’s sturdier than I expected. With this style of lamp, it’s never going to be perfectly sturdy because of the tripod/skinny leg design. These legs are about as sturdy as you can get to still get the sleek look. I cannot see the joints unless I look real close. The shade is a light tan textured fabric so it compliments our neutral space well. It should go with a lot of different color schemes, as long as the color scheme isn’t too cool (this is definitely a warmer/tan color so real cool grays without any offsetting warm colors may clash). The shade has a seam, so we just put it towards the back and it cannot be seen. I like that the lamp came with tiny hooks so you can secure the brown cord down one leg, making it blend seamlessly with the design (as compared to some others that don’t come with the hooks, so the cord just hangs down the middle - sloppy). And the fact that the cord is brown, it blends right in with the legs. The foot pedal on/off is nice as compared to a pulley chain or twist knob, but we’ll have it hooked into a smart plug for auto on/off schedule, so likely won’t use it much. Issue: The lamp shade is not wide enough to cover the Velcro area. (See photo) I have another one bought a year or so ago that didn’t have this issue. I’ve emailed the company to see if they can just send me a new shade fabric. Will update. Otherwise for the price it’s a nice looking MCM style lamp. This one also has cord clips to help hide the cord, though they are black (my other lamp didn’t include these so I bought clear which worked and will use those instead since I have them). It has a floor button switch so it’s easy to turn on with your foot without touching the lamp. I have my other one plugged into an Alexa plug so we just have her turn it on and off (side note you can also tell Alexa to turn on daily at dusk and off at dawn, which works great for our living room). A three way switch option would have been nice. I got the color brown which in my option is actually the traditional MCM walnut wood color; the one they list as walnut is very dark, so “Dark Walnut” would be more accurate.
